Separated by just a single wall, two confrontations were taking place simultaneously.
On one side, Henry had rescued Sophia from her tormentors; on the other, Harding family security personnel were facing off against Oliver’s men, pushing and shoving each other in a tense atmosphere that seemed about to erupt into an all–out brawl at any moment.
After ensuring Billy and Sophia were safely escorted to the ambulance, Henry walked with cold determination into the adjacent room where Oliver and his people were waiting.
Without ceremony, he had his men throw the four thugs who had assaulted Sophia onto the floor in front of Oliver like garbage being discarded.
They lay on the cold floor, writhing in agony.
Their arms and legs had been broken, and worse–they’d been castrated. They curled into fetal positions, their pitiful moans filling the entire room as they twisted like squirming maggots.
Mia, who had been so enthusiastic about this “celebration” moments before, now trembled with fear after witnessing actual violence up close. She had never seen such brutality firsthand. Her face pale, she quickly hid herself in Oliver’s embrace.
“What are you afraid of?” Oliver whispered reassuringly while stroking her hair, appearing unusually calm. I’m right here. How can such a minor scene frighten you?”
Despite his comforting words, Oliver’s gaze never left Henry.
The Harding family and the Smith family were sworn enemies who rarely interacted except to maintain a façade of politeness in public settings, while privately hoping for each other’s downfall.
Because of this mutual avoidance, Oliver had never had close contact with Henry, though his reputation preceded him.
Oliver couldn’t help thinking: This Henry truly has an extraordinary presence. So young, yet wielding an iron fist. No wonder Isabella was so obsessed with him.
He lightly tapped his cigar, carelessly flicking ash onto the floor as if the tense atmosphere in the room didn’t affect him at all. “Henry Harding,” he said deliberately casually, “you’ve injured quite a few of my people. Don’t you think you owe me some explanation?” His smile remained fixed but emanated an unsettling aura.
Henry’s response exuded dominance: “You want an explanation? Here it is: anyone who dares touch my woman has only one path–death!”
He kicked one of the injured men’s broken legs forcefully, sending a shrill scream echoing‘
Oliver hadn’t expected this young man to show such complete disregard for his authority.
He stepped closer to Henry until they were face to face, their eyes filled with mutual contempt.
igh the small room.
“They already have broken limbs and have been castrated,” Oliver said through gritted teeth. “Isn’t that enough? Your woman is completely unharmed. Don’t go too far.
The young man before him radiated an intense killing intent, creating tremendous pressure.

Oliver even questioned whether he still controlled his own territory.
“I only have one question for Mr. Smith, Henry said, his voice dangerously calm. If the woman by your side received the same treatment today, would you let it go so easily?”
Though Mia and Oliver weren’t officially married, they had a son together.
In public, Mia always accompanied Oliver as his wife.
Oliver’s expression darkened further: “Young man, I advise you not to go too far. Nothing happened to that woman, did she? And don’t forget–she’s accusing you of drugging and raping her! Wouldn’t it be better if I handled this major problem for you? Just give me one night, and I could make it all disappear cleanly, as if she never existed in this world. Or would you prefer prison?”
Henry, tired of this conversation, waved his hand.
Immediately, a group of high–ranking police officials entered the room, led by the Police Commissioner.
“Arrest these corrupt officers, these disgraces to the police force,” the Commissioner ordered.
Not only were the uniformed officers arrested, but Oliver and his bodyguards were also taken away. The four injured men were thrown onto ambulances like garbage.
