Chapter 233
Sharon thought, ‘Yep, I’m Solar Flare, but I’m not telling you.‘
Sharon’s heart skipped a beat, but she quickly put on a smile. “You think I’m Solar Flare just because of what I’m wearing?”
Jannie spoke up, “We randomly picked these patterns. Tons of people have bought this online, you know.”
Margaret nodded. “Logically, that all checks out. But standing here now, it just t feels different. You know what I mean?”
Sharon replied, “I really don’t get what you’re saying. If I actually
wwere Solar Flare, would I make it this obvious? I’m
that dumb.”
Margaret frowned and thought, ‘That’s exactly the weirdest part.‘
Sharon turned to look at Nicholas, thinking, ‘Did I really give myself away? I feel a little nervous!
“Nicholas spoke up, Let’s head back first. We can talk about it later.”
There were still a lot of unanswered questions about this whole thing that he hadn’t figured out.
“Mr. Baxter, I really think we need to investigate this thoroughly,” Margaret said.
She glanced at the tattoo on Sharon’s arm, the wig on her head, and her whole boyish getup.
Margaret thought, ‘Honestly, Sharon acts super weird. If I only saw her from behind, I’d never guess it was her.
‘No one could tell if she dressed up like this just for a photoshoot, or if she was actually trying to hide her identity.’
“I know,” Nicholas said.
Nicholas reached out and took Sharon’s hand. When he looked down and saw the tattoo on her arm, he thought it looked really bold and kind of familiar.
Sharon quickly pulled her sleeve down. “That was just for the shoot, okay? Please don’t tell my brothers.”
She had to keep up her good–girl act in front of her brothers.
Nicholas asked, “Is that just drawn on?”
Sharon replied, “Yeah, I just thought it looked cool.”
Sharon forced a sweet, pleading smile. She thought, ‘Please, don’t let my brothers find out their little sister is actually a rebellious girl who likes tattoos, motorcycles, and getting into fights.
know I’m nothing like the obedient sister they think I am, but I still want to be a good sister.‘
Nicholas gave her nose a playful squeeze. “Don’t let it happen again.”
Sharon promised, “I swear I won’t.”
Her eyes curved into crescents, and at that moment, she was once again the sweet, adorable daughter of the Vance family–obedient and cute as ever.
As the group reached the roadside, they saw a bunch of cars parked along the street.
The team leader’s face was icy. “Nicholas, you’d better think hard about how you’re going to explain yourself when we get back. Letting Daniel go without permission is a serious offense.”
It was only when Sharon heard this that she realized just how dangerous things had been. If Nicholas hadn’t stepped in front of her, she didn’t know what could’ve happened.

Chapter 233
After all, the weapons brought by the House of Obsidian were seriously dangerous.
Nicholas stayed calm. “I’ll handle it myself.”
“Hmph, don’t think anyone’s going to bail you out this time,” said the team
When the team leader found out Nicholas had let Daniel go to save Sharon, he wa
furious. All that careful planning was ruined in an instant.
He glared at Sharon. “And you, showing up here for no reason and messing up the Academy’s mission. Do you even realize what you’ve done?”
Nicholas said, “I’ll explain everything about her. She had nothing to
with it.”
Nicholas stepped in front of Sharon, looking down at the team leader with clear annoyance. “If you’ve got a problem, take it up with me.”
“You think you’re getting off easy? None of you is going anywhere.” The team leader was so angry that he started cursing up a storm.
A flash of irritation crossed Sharon’s eyes as she cursed inwardly, ‘This guy is seriously annoying.’
The man snapped, “What kind of look is that? You really have the nerve to stare at me like that? You’re a new student at the House of Obsidian, right? What’s your name?
“I’m definitely writing a report when I get back. Oriston Academy doesn’t need students like you.”
The team leader looked at Sharon with clear annoyance, thinking, ‘Tattoos, and that whole androgynous vibe. What kind of people did the academy even admit this year?‘
Sharon said, “My name is Sharon Vance.”
“Sharon, huh? I’ll remember that name. When I get back to the academy, I’ll make sure you… Wait, what did you just say your name was?”
The team leader snapped out of it and stared at her. “S–Sharon Vance? You’re Sharon Vance?”
