Chapter 219
Chapter 219
Lydia’s face turned even uglier. She thought, I never imagined the VIP guest would actually be Sharon. How is that even possibileti just caret lave Lydia had thought it’d be some mysterious big shot from a powerful family, and she was curious to see who it was. But in the and, it was just sharan
Feeling totally unsettled, Lydia strode right over. “Sharon, what are you doing here?”
In the quiet lobby, Lydia’s voice sounded especially jarring, dripping with arrogance.
Sharon stopped in her tracks, surprised to bump into Lydia here. She wondered, ‘Enemies really do cross paths everywhere.
Lydia strutted over, but the general manager stepped in to block her. “Sorry, miss, you can’t go any further.”
The manager thought, ‘Boss has always hated people getting too close. I cleared out this whole area, and there’s still someone barging in to cause trouble? Is she out of her mind?‘
“You dare stop me?” Lydia’s face twisted with anger. She felt she was completely slighted. She’d never been treated like this anywhere she wanted to go.
The general manager shot her a look of pure disdain. “Even if your father showed up, you still wouldn’t be allowed in today. That’s the rule at Atlantis Hotel.”
“What a stupid rule. It’s just a hotel. I can have my dad buy this place, and the first thing I’ll do is fire you.” Lydia looked at the general manager, waiting to see him panic.
But the general manager just looked at her like she was an idiot.
Vivian walked over and gave Sharon a once–over. “So you’re the supreme VIP at Atlantis Hotel? Gotta say, that’s a bit of a shock.”
The Vance family couldn’t even get into this hotel before.
But out of nowhere, they shot up. Now, they could not only use the Queen’s Hall but also become supreme VIPs.
After all, those families were all just regular VIPs.
Usually, the general manager treated them with a lukewarm attitude, and they never thought much of it.
But seeing him so enthusiastic with Sharon today, they realized the difference. They wondered how Sharon ended up as a supreme VIP, and why Atlantis rolled out the red carpet for her.
Vivian thought there was someone powerful backing Atlantis because sometimes, they didn’t even bother giving face to the top families.
All this just made Vivian even more curious about Sharon.
Sharon frowned and replied coldly, “It might be a surprise to you, but for me, it’s only natural.”
Vivian was left speechless. She thought, ‘Sharon seems like a totally different person. She never talked back like this at school. When did she get so sharp? So what if she’s a supreme VIP? What’s the big deal?‘
Vivian glanced at Lydia. “If your family buys this hotel, get me a supreme VIP too.”
“Sure, I’ll call my dad right now.” Lydia immediately pulled out her phone.
She thought in anger, ‘No way I’m letting this go today. This crappy hotel dares to look down on us. We’re not inferior to Sharon. How dare that stupid
manager treat us like this?‘
As soon as the call connected, Lydia blurted out, “Dad, let’s buy Atlantis Hotel. The general manager here totally disrespected me.”

“What? You offended the general manager?” asked her father.
Lydia blinked in surprise. “He’s the one who offended me.”
She didn’t quite get it her father sounded nothing like his usual self.
Her father replied, “You must’ve done something to upset him. Go apologize to him right now. Don’t embarrass our family.
Lydia insisted, “Dad, he’s just a manager.”
Lydia was completely dumbfounded. She thought the general manager was the one who looked down on her, but her dad insisted she apologize to him.
She wondered, ‘If I apologize to him, wouldn’t that basically mean apologizing to Sharon too? Why should !?*
Lydia’s father snapped, “Idiot. Never mess with the general manager at that hotel. If you can’t behave, then don’t bother staying there anymore.
The call ended before Lydia could even react.
She’d pulled stunts like this so many times before, and her father had always backed her up. She was confused about her father’s reaction today
Vivian grinned. “So, when will your dad buy the place?”
Lydia’s face went from pale to livid in an instant. She was at a total loss for words.
She thought, ‘Am I supposed to admit that not only did my father turn me down, but he also told me to apologize to the general manager? There’s no way I can say that out loud.’
Just then, Lydia’s assistant hurried over and politely addressed the general manager, “My boss called specifically to apologize for Ms. Whitmore’s rudeness. She’s still young and doesn’t know any better.”
The general manager just snorted coldly and ignored them.
He turned to Sharon, his attitude unusually respectful. “Ms. Vance, please come with me.”
“OK,” Sharon replied.
She then glanced back at Lydia. “You should really know your place. Atlantis Hotel doesn’t welcome guests like you.”
Lydia’s expression changed instantly. “Who do you think you are? You think you get to decide that?”
Lydia cursed inwardly, ‘She’s trying to kick me out? Does she even know who she’s dealing with? So what if she’s a supreme VIP? I can get that status too if I want.‘
The next moment, the general manager turned to the staff nearby. “Pack up Ms. Whitmore’s things and escort her out. Make sure her name goes on the blacklist.”
“Who gives you the right? How can you do this to me? If you dare cross me like this, my father won’t let you off,” Lydia shouted.
