Chapter 92 She’s Worth It
The man looked to be about six feet one. He quickly approached and bent down beside her.
“Amelia, what are you doing in a chaotic place like this? Don’t tell me it’s for Nolan again?”

Jonathan had just returned to Solandis that evening, not yet adjusted to the time difference. With one hand. casually tucked in his pocket, he looked entirely at case..
Amelia took two steps back. “You are?”
Jonathan raised an eyebrow, the smile in his eye vanishing. “What game are you playing now?”
Just then, Dylan called out. “Jonathan.”
Amelia realized that this was Jonathan Grant.
Jonathan was a central figure in elite social circles. Rumor had it that three years ago, after being forced into an arranged marriage by his family, he fled before the ceremony and never showed up. Still, the Grant family insisted on this arranged marriage.
With Jonathan back in Solandis, he would likely soon face the wife he had never met.
Amelia had heard that Jonathan had lived a reckless life abroad and shown nothing but contempt for his intended bride. After three years away, his return likely signaled a divorce.
Regaining her composure, Amelia responded calmly. “So it’s Mr. Grant.”
By now, Jonathan had returned to Dylan’s side. He gave a cold snort and crossed his arms. “What sort of performance is this?”
It wasn’t the first time Amelia had been spoken to like that.
She frowned slightly. Could it be that, before her memory loss, she had provoked Jonathan?
Jonathan continued. “In the past, whenever you saw us, you acted like you were superior, like a complete fool. Now you’re trying to avoid us. You’re not afraid Dylan might devour you?”
Amelia wasn’t sure if it was just her imagination, but there was a strange ambiguity in his use of the word “devour.”
She gave Dylan a glance, who was looking toward the bar interior, his profile emanating aloofness.
Jonathan lost interest in Amelia and asked, “Dylan, has the person you’re waiting for arrived? Should we go in?”
Dylan exuded an almost ethereal presence as he sat in his wheelchair. “She has.”
Jonathan looked around, surprised. “She has? Where is she?”
But Dylan said nothing, simply wheeling his wheelchair forward. Jonathan followed closely.
Amelia walked behind them, just in time to hear Jonathan say, “Tomorrow, let’s visit the cemetery first.”
Dylan’s wheelchair came to a sudden halt. His demeanor shifted, appearing desolate.

As she pondered this, the group came to a stop again. Jonathan’s tone turned sharp. “Amelia, how long do you intend to follow us?”
Jonathan’s coldness was unmistakably absolute. Amelia even suspected that if not for Dylan’s presence, he might have lashed out.
He turned, his expression steeped in disdain. “Just because we didn’t humiliate you this time, do you think the Grant family has forgotten what you did?”
He was referring to the tragedy involving Ms. Grant, but Amelia genuinely couldn’t remember and had no way to defend herself.
Jonathan seemed ready to continue, but when he noticed Dylan’s wheelchair had already moved ahead, he quickly followed.
Amelia remained in place, her body gripped by an icy chill.
Only after their figures disappeared did she proceed inside, determined to uncover the truth about the Grant family incident.
She never met Nolan. Instead, at a corner, she ran into several drunk men.
They were all tall and rough–looking, and they surrounded her. “Hey, beautiful, all alone tonight? Why not come and have some fun with us?”
Two more men laughed, reaching for her with obvious intent.
Amelia’s brows furrowed. She stepped back. But more footsteps came from behind. Several unfamiliar men approached. There were six in total, their eyes fixed intently on her.

She quickly opened a nearby door. It led to a private room, with another passage inside.
She ran for more than a few meters. When she realized no one had followed, she still felt uneasy. Then she heard Logan’s voice.
It was strange. Dylan, Logan, and Jonathan had all come to this bar tonight.
Logan’s voice was laced with irony. “All these years, and you’re still on. What are you waiting for?”
Amelia held her breath, trying to hear Dylan’s reply.
hung up on her? I think it’s time to move
Dylan tapped lightly on the armrest of his wheelchair, his gaze retreating. “She’s worth it.”
Logan chuckled in disbelief. “She seems completely average to me. She’s naive and manipulative. What exactly makes her worth it?”
“I just need to know her worth.” Dylan’s tone remained calm, yet carried a quiet, unshakable resolve that no one could fathom.
