Celia and Jessica had always been close. Back when Jessica was still a mistress, everyone else looked down on her but Celia–she was the only one who helped Jessica.
Knowing Celia would definitely agree to her proposal, Jessica quickly turned toward James.
But James looked a bit hesitant, After all, Amelia and Nolan’s engagement had been publicly announced in their social circle. Now, changing it so suddenly would surely make people talk.
