Chapter 195
The admin immediately reported the issue. This was way above his pay grade.
Cameron received the alert promptly. Glancing at the photo, he remained unfazed. This had made plenty of enemies over the years.
s wasn’t the first time someone had put a hit out on Sharon, Sh
Even now, several high–profile bounties for Solar Flare remained unclaimed on the leaderboard.
“Chill,” Cameron replied. “In our line of work, reputation is everything.”
The admin stammered, “But… But this is targeting the boss.”
“Small potatoes. Tell the client to double the offer or we reject.”
“Seriously? What if the boss finds out?”
“Calm down. If such a low–tier contract could take the boss down, he wouldn’t be our boss. Maybe it’s time for new management.”
The admin was sweating bullets, thinking, ‘Hoo
is Cameron so calm about this?‘
Still, the admin followed orders. He had no choice anyway. If things went wrong later, he would just pass the blame.
He dialed Cooper. “Offer rejected.”
Cooper’s face darkened. “Why?”
“Unless you’re willing to pay twice the amount. You know why.”
Cooper recalled how effortlessly Sharon had lifted him. He understood it was no ordinary target. Gritting his teeth, he agreed. “Fine.” His pride was worth the financial hit.
The admin replied, “Deal. F–level contract activated.”
“F–level? Why?” Cooper felt undervalued.
The admin explained, “Uh, the level depends on how much you pay.”
Cooper burned with humiliation. Though wealthy by normal standards, he was small fry in this world. But whatever, that freak would be gone from this
world.
Sharon walked out calmly, running into Joan. Joan asked, “Ms. Vance, why did you use that restroom?”
“The attendant directed me here,” Sharon replied, then paused. Recalling the earlier incident, she pieced it together–though honestly, those two weaklings hadn’t even been worth her time.
“Did something happen there?” Joan, sharp as ever, immediately guessed the truth. Her fists clenched. “Let me handle them–”
“Don’t bother.” Sharon stopped Joan.
“Ms. Vance, I must teach them a lesson today.” Joan was angry.
Sharon gripped Joan’s wrist. “You think I can’t crush a few weaklings myself?”
“… No, of course not.” Joan calmed down.

She thought, ‘Right. Normal people stand no chance against Ms. Vance!
“Let’s go. We’re running late.” Sharon strolled toward the park, where Patrick stood in sleek white athletic wear, devastatingly handsome as always
“Shari, try this milkshake. You must be tired after filming.” Marvin hovered attentively if watching her act was his greatest joy.
Sharon took a sip and smiled, “Good.”
Marvin beamed, turning to his assistant. “Buy the shop. From now on, they
upply
Shari’s milkshakes exclusively.”
William, the crew, and bystanders could only watch in numb awe. They also wished someone could spoil them like this.
Marvin’s extravagance knew no bounds. Sharon casually praised the restaurant’s signature dishes at lunch, and Marvin immediately tried to poach the chef. Now, she enjoyed the milkshake, and
Vin acquired the store.
Marvin really spoiled Sharon.
Sharon walked over to Patrick, exchanging greetings before discussing their upcoming scene.
“Action!” William called.
The scene began with Sharon jogging along a path, coincidentally meeting Patrick. They ran side by side through the park.
Since it was still early in the morning, there were barely any passersby around.
Deeper in the park, they encountered Cooper, who had been tailing Sharon. They exchanged awkward glances but continued jogging forward.
Suddenly, two thugs jumped out, brandishing knives. “Hand over your wallets and phones!”
Patrick immediately shielded Sharon, his voice steady. “Stay behind me.”
Sharon feigned worry. Three against two, and they could handle this. However, she glanced back and saw Cooper sprinting away.
“Run!” Patrick urged, giving her a light push.
Sharon instinctively took a few steps before realizing Patrick was now surrounded. Gritting her teeth, she turned back and kicked a thug. This kick sent the thug flying.
“Cut!” William yelled, rushing forward. “Is that guy okay?”
Sharon blinked, suddenly remembering this was just acting. She got a bit carried away.
William approached and sighed, “You’re trained, right?”
“A little. Sorry about that, Mr. Baker.” Sharon offered an apologetic smile.
“No worries. Everyone takes flubs sometimes,” William chuckled. “Let’s reset for another go.” He was surprised that such a petite girl could launch a grown man like a soccer ball.
The second take went much smoother. The male lead heroically rescued the female lead, only to discover she had been disguised as a boy all along.
“Cut! That’s a wrap,” William announced.
Sharon exhaled in relief. The filming was finally done.
Patrick smiled at her. “You did great, Shari. If you ever want to act again, I can line up some scripts for you.”
“Sounds fun! It was quite interesting,” Sharon replied, glancing at the blond extra she had kicked earlier. “Sorry, I didn’t hold back enough.”

“No worries. I’m fine. I used to train and all.” The blond extra, Owen Ward, forced a grin while clutching his aching ribs.
Owen thought, ‘Damn it! Wasn’t this supposed to be an F–level task? Why’s this damn pretty boy so strong?
‘That kick nearly sent me to the afterlife. I thought my cover was blown for sure. Huh, making ends meet as a contract killer these days is getting harder.
