Chapter 193
Sharon, still sulking about her height, followed her brothers back to the set.
Outside, Ella was in tears, nursing her wounded pride. Being publicly dismissed by Marvin at lunch was a humiliation she couldn’t hear
A man hovered nearby, trying to console her. “Don’t cry, Ella, I’ll make them pay for this.”
Elia sighed, “What can you possibly do? That’s the Vance family.”
The Vances were untouchable these days. Even the Pierces had backed down after clashing with them.
The man, Cooper Ramos, was the second male lead. He was now seething with rage. “Just watch me.” He stormed off to confront Sharon and her two
brothers.
As he marched over, they emerged together.
Cooper snapped, “You think you can bully anyone? That woman owes Ella an
The air instantly went dead silent.
William broke out in a cold sweat. He thought, ‘What fresh hell is this?‘
Sharon blinked. “Who exactly should apologize?”
Cooper snorted, “Marvin’s girlfriend.”
apology
Dressed in male attire with a short wig and using her practiced baritone, Sharon was completely unrecognizable as a girl.
She tilted her head at Marvin. “You brought a girlfriend, Mav?”
Cooper yelled, “Stop playing dumb! That woman Marvin brought to the set. Where is she? Let’s see how tough she is.”
Marvin’s expression darkened, but Sharon held up a hand to stop him. Calmly, she said, “The person you’re looking for is probably me.”
“You? A man?” Cooper’s face twisted in disgust as he looked Sharon up and down, clearly assuming the worst. “Humph, Marvin’s into this now.”
“Watch your fucking mouth!” Marvin punched Cooper’s face, sending him sprawling.
He planted a foot on Cooper’s chest and glanced at Sharon. “She’s my little princess. Got it? You want her to apologize? I’ll gladly send you to the hospital if you’re that eager to die.”
Rolling up his sleeves, Marvin’s usual playboy demeanor gave way to something far more dangerous.
William wiped his sweaty brow. “Mr. Marvin Vance, maybe postpone the beating? Cooper is the second male lead. I still need him for a few scenes.”
The film was nearing completion. If Cooper got hospitalized now, reshoots would be a nightmare.
William glanced pleadingly at Patrick, who only said coldly, “We’ll reshoot. I’ll adjust my schedule.” His tone made it clear. He wouldn’t let Cooper go today.
William was on the verge of tears.
“Wait.” Sharon’s voice shifted back to her natural, sweet tone. She looked at Marvin. “Mav, save it for later. Don’t disrupt William’s productio.
Marvin glared at Cooper beneath his shoe. You get a temporary pass.” He stepped back reluctantly.
William watched this in awe. He thought, ‘This girl’s words are law!‘

His attitude toward Sharon Instantly warmed. “Alright, everyone. The first love girl is ready for her scenes. Let’s get set up.
The crew finally connected the dots. This handsome young man was the adorable girl from earlier. If not for the hairstyle and clothes, they might ve thought they were looking at twins. The resemblance was uncanny.
Sure, some people had tried cross–dressing before, but none had pulled it off flawlessly.
Several female crew members stole glances at Sharon. If not for her height, she would be the perfect manga prince come to life, cute yet dashing
Sharon only had two scenes. One was a scene where her character met the male lead at an internet cafe white playing games together. The other was a park scene where they ran into a robber, and the male lead saved her.
The total amount of dialogue was less than ten lines.
William personally coached Sharon through every step–unheard of for the notoriously harsh director.
The crew gaped. Someone couldn’t help but think, ‘Is this even the same William? Why the special treatment?‘
The reason was simple. Because just moments ago, Sharon had saved his behind with the Cooper incident. Her words carried weight, and she was beautiful. She deserved to be treated like royalty.
The internet café scene was set up at NovaCore’s training base, with some team members making cameo appearances as background extras.
Sharon sat for final touch–ups, adjusting her wig that had nearly slipped off earlier.
The makeup artist circled her carefully. “Thanks.” Sharon grinned up at her, her low, melodic voice perfectly matching her boyish charm, both dashing and adorably soft.
The makeup artist blushed. “N–no problem. Just call me if the wig bothers you.”
“All good now.” Sharon sprawled in the gaming chair, her lean legs crossed lazily as she eyed the screen. With her sharp profile and relaxed posture, she had fully transformed into a handsome young man.
The makeup artist stumbled outside. She thought, ‘Oh my! I think I just fell for her. That smile straight up murdered me! How can a girl be this handsome? After this movie drops, I bet millions of girls are gonna fall for her.‘
Actually, she wasn’t alone. Even the Nova Core players were shocked.
Miles kept sneaking glances. He thought, ‘Is she a girl or some crossplayer? That cute girl just morphed into this man. Am I imagining this?‘
The team members exchanged bewildered looks.
Marvin’s voice suddenly cut through. “Eyes to yourselves, or I’ll gouge them out.”
He glared at them and thought, ‘My sister isn’t someone you losers can stare at.
