Chapter 192
The assistant still didn’t quite understand, but Roman had no time to explain. Sharon was the Vance family’s beloved princess, though her identity couldn’t be revealed publicly yet. For now, this was the best they could do.
Seated in the makeup chair, Sharon eyed the costumes hanging nearby with curiosity.
Patrick stood beside her, patiently explaining the scene and going over the script
ith her to highlight
key points.
Sharon nodded. It was just a few short shots, nothing complicated.
Soon, Roman returned, though his expression
was a bit awkward. “Ahem… The costume prepared this time is men’s clothing”
Upon hearing this, Patrick frowned, “Why?”
Roman explained, “The script was revised a couple of days ago. The idea was that the female lead used to disguise herself as a boy while training with the team for that ‘contrast cuteness‘ effect.”
“No way. What kind of nonsense is that?” Marvin was the first to object. Sharon, his little princess, was supposed to be dressed adorably, not in some boy’s uniform.
Patrick hesitated. “Talk to William and change it back.”
Roman said, “I already contacted him. He’s on his way.”
No sooner had he spoken than William arrived. He swallowed nervously. “The script was revised earlier because we hadn’t found the right actress. But now that we have, we can revert it.”
“The men’s outfit looks cool,” Sharon suddenly spoke, eyeing the team uniform. “I’ve never worn male clothes before.”
Marvin frowned, “Shari, it’s not cute. My little princess should
be in a dress.”
“But I want to match Pat.” Sharon turned her charming, pleading eyes on Patrick.
Three seconds later, Patrick sighed, rubbing his temples. “Fine. Try it first.”
Sharon beamed in satisfaction.
Joan gathered the uniform and short–haired wig, then accompanied Sharon to the changing room.
William stood frozen and thought, ‘I just witnessed Patrick being swayed so easily? Is it real?‘
He cleared his throat. “Men’s clothing might not suit her. I can have the props team prepare something else.”
“No need. The things they prepared were trash anyway. I’ll buy something better.” Marvin waved a hand dismissively. Only the finest would do for
Sharon.
William immediately shut his mouth. He thought helplessly, ‘Alright, forget I said anything.
About ten minutes later, the dressing room door opened, and a strikingly handsome young man with delicate features and rosy lips stepped out.
William’s jaw dropped. “Holy crap!”
He couldn’t help thinking, ‘Did she get plastic surgery? How did the adorable girl suddenly turn into this gorgeous boy? That posture, that gaze… No one would believe this stunning guy is a girl.’
Joan clasped her hands excitedly as she thought, ‘Ms. Vance looks so dashing in men’s clothing. Ah, another day being utterly conquered by her visuals!!
Chapter 192
Sharon casually tucked one hand into her pocket as she sauntered over to her brothers. “Well? Do I look cool?”
“Shari, you… Your voice?” Marvin nearly jumped at Sharon’s sudden pleasant baritone.
Patrick chuckled, “Ventriloquism?”
“More like vocal mimicry.” Sharon covered her mouth, then flawlessly replicated Patrick’s voice.
Marvin was dumbfounded. “Awesome, Shari!” And she even looked handsome in the male outfit.
William, now the most excited of all, completely forgot what he had just said. “Let the makeup artist touch it up a bit more! Yes, this is perfect!” he shouted, voice cracking.
With that, he hurried off to prepare the set, thoroughly pleased.
Soon, Sharon went out fully styled–her jawline sharper, brows thicker, now the spitting image of a handsome boy.
Joan watched with excitement. “Let me take a photo. Honestly, Ms. Vance looks quite similar to you.”
“Really? Come on then.” Marvin pulled Sharon and Patrick together for a shot.
Joan took a photo and handed the phone to Sharon.
Sharon took a look and nodded. She and her brothers did look alike. In the picture, two tall, striking men flanked a youthful yet equally regal–looking boy. Their features, especially those piercing eyes, mirrored each other perfectly. There were truly siblings.
Looking at the picture, Sharon pouted slightly because she didn’t even reach her, brothers‘ shoulders. She thought, ‘If only I were taller, I could properly charm all the ladies.‘
