The plastic girl was the first to recover. She yelled, “How dare you hit my boyfriend!”
Sharon didn’t even hesitate and slapped her. “I’ll hit any cheating scums, you disgusting couple.”
“Ah, honey, my nose! My nose is crooked.” The girl collapsed, covering her now–misshapen nose.
Jose lunged forward, only for Marvin to intercept him. “Try it, jerk. I’ll chop that hand off,”
Patrick came over, his gaze glacial. “Shari, you know this bastard?” For a moment, he even thought Sharon might have been the betrayed girl
At that possibility, Patrick’s expression darkened further. He thought with a cold gaze, ‘Break his arms or legs first?”
Sharon took a tissue from Joan, wiping her hands. “Jannie is my friend.”
Jose was shocked, thinking, ‘How could that be?‘
Marvin understood. He glared at Jose. “You’re fired. I’m blacklisting you industry–wide. Nothing I hate more than cheaters.”
Jose crumpled to his knees with a pale face, mind blank with shock. He scrambled for excuses. “She… She seduced me. I never meant to hurt Jannie. I still have feelings for her.”
“Feelings?” Sharon scoffed. “Don’t insult the word.” This typical trash was still making excuses at this point.
Before Jose could make any more excuses, Marvin kicked him aside and ordered the guards to drag him out.
Marvin thought, ‘This bastard dares to mess with Shari’s friend. His career is over.‘
Miles shivered, recalling last night’s match. Now he couldn’t help but worry if they were going to be next. Though they were spared today, Sharon’s warning glance promised retribution if they slipped up.
Marvin turned to Sharon, “You should’ve told me he betrayed your friend. I’d have handled it for you.”
“I didn’t expect such a coincidence.” Sharon’s gaze flicked to Miles again.
Miles trembled as he prayed in his mind, ‘Please don’t look at me. I promise my lips are sealed!‘
William came to fetch them for filming. “Time for the next scene. Miss, you can watch today’s scenes. Then, we can go over your lines. If all goes well, I’ll shoot your cameo this afternoon.”
Sharon nodded. Her mood significantly improved after dealing with Jose.
Nearby, Jose and his girlfriend’s screaming match escalated into physical blows. What a fittingly ugly end.
Snapping a photo, Sharon sent it to Jannie and let her appreciate it.
On set, Sharon watched Patrick prepare for his next scene–a passionate make–up kiss after a quarrel.
After touch–ups, Patrick smiled gently at Sharon, “Get comfortable here first. I’ll rehearse with you later. There’s nothing to worry about.”
“Okay.” Sharon beamed, admiring her dashing brother heading to his work.
Beside her, Marvin played the doting brother, fetching drinks and feeding snacks, as if she were a princess.
William nearly popped his eyes out watching the scene.

The entire crew gaped. Someone thought in disbelief, ‘Since when did this dandy become so conservative? Today’s behavior doesn’t match his image at all.
Sharon just giggled, keeping her eyes covered.
“Cut. That’s good,” William called.
Morning filming ended. It was lunchtime.
When Patrick stepped off the set, his on–screen tenderness vanished into an
icy expression.
The leading actress, Ella Chavez, approached shyly. “Patrick, let’s have lunch together. My agent ordered special meals from downtown.”
“No.” Patrick walked straight past Ella to William.
The director brightened. “Mr. Patrick Vance, there’s a decent restaurant nearby. How about-”
“No, thanks.” In the next breath, Patrick’s entire demeanor softened as he turned to Sharon. “What do you feel like eating for lunch? There’s not much around here. Should we have something delivered?”
William’s smile froze.
Sharon smiled, “No need for trouble. Let’s try William’s suggestion.”
“Fine.” Patrick agreed instantly.
William was puzzled, thinking, ‘Is she Marvin’s girl or Patrick’s?‘
Sharon glanced at the rest of the crew. “Why don’t we all go?”
Patrick waved dismissively. “My treat.”
The set erupted in cheers. They didn’t have to eat fast food today.
