Chapter 179
The most attention–grabbing and bold display at the school gate was definitely the eight luxury cars parked dead center.
They took up the best visibility spots, pushing other vehicles into the surrounding corners.
By each car door stood a strikingly good–looking man–tall, upright, and leaning casually against the cars with one hand in his pocket, their profile views as handsome as anime characters.
But the real kicker? Eight identical hunks, all carbon copies of each other. They could’ve stood in a trash heap and still drawn stares. No need for introductions–everyone knew they were the Vance family’s eight brothers.
Guys like that would turn heads no matter where they stood.
Now
Their prime parking choice naturally annoyed other noble families. Vivian’s and Lydia’s families, for example, had sent drivers in their own luxury cars, only to get shoved into the sidelines.
Their stewards griped. “Eight cars just to flaunt? You think we’re impressed?”
AN
These were all high–class families–none lacking money–but none so bold. Leave it to the eight Vance twins to roll up in eight separate cars, hogging the best spots. Talk about provoking everyone.
Wallace stayed calm. “Sorry, big family.”
“Can’t you share one car? You had to bring eight?” a steward said.
Marvin shot him a casual glance. “Eight cars look cooler. More imposing.”
It was their first time picking up Sharon from school–blending in was optional, and looking awesome was a must. Eight cars were nothing. He would’ve brought a helicopter if he could.
“You’re being rude! No respect for noble manners–just like new money!” Another steward said.
Marvin scoffed. “Have you ever heard of first come, first served? You showed up late and lost the good spot. Not our fault.”
Patrick added, “Yeah, don’t blame new money for this.”
The critics went silent, fuming.
Wallace put on a fake smile. “Sorry, my brothers are a bit short–tempered. Thanks for understanding.”
No one wanted to understand them. And since when weren’t the eight brothers on the same page? Skip the polite talk–everyone saw through it.
Finally, Sharon, who the eight brothers had been waiting for, appeared at the school gate, greeted by more than a few hostile looks.
The eight brothers immediately stood upright and moved toward her, their steps steady and confidently handsome.
Never mind their earlier overbearing parking stunt–they were all ridiculously good–looking.
The girls present thought, ‘Why can’t I have such bold, attractive brothers?‘ Everyone was wildly jealous of Sharon.
Sharon leaned in and whispered to Nicholas, “I’m heading out now.”
“Alright. Get some rest. Call me if you need anything.” Nicholas stepped back, leaving Sharon and her brothers some space.
Richard stood in front of her. “Shari, how’s it going at the academy these past few days? Are you settling in?”
“I’ve been great. Everyone’s been really kind to me,” Sharon smiled sweetly, her eyes curving with practiced innocence.

Chapter 179
Richard sighed warmly, “Good to hear that. Shari’s the most well–behaved, perfect angel in the world, after all.”
Sharon’s smile brightened until a cold voice interrupted, “Sharon’s gotten into three fights at the academy. If Mr. White hadn’t covered for her, she’d probably be expelled by now.”
Sharon’s eyes turned icy. She thought, ‘Who the hell is ruining my act? No one’s allowed to expose my good–girl persona!‘
She turned to see a luxury car at the end of the line, its window rolled down–Ashley, with Karen beside her. Old grievances and fresh anger flared, making Sharon’s gaze sharpen.
Ashley tilted her chin up. “Did I say something incorrect?”
The atmosphere turned frosty.
Wallace asked, “Shari, what’s really going on? Did someone pick on you? Why’d you get into a fight?”
Sharon replied, “I didn’t fight. They just tripped and fell on their own.”
“You’re bullshitting. The Pierces are still here,” Ashley said.
The members of the Pierce family’s lesser branch watching the drama suddenly felt a cold shiver down their spines. They thought, ‘Oh crap, we’re dead
meat.’
Sharon’s eyes narrowed. “Did I lay a hand on you?”
One of them touched the cast on his arm and blurted, “No fight! No way! Sharon’s way too kind and generous to clash with anyone. All that fight talk’s just rumors.”
“Bullshit! Then where’d your injuries come from?” Ashley snapped.
The Pierces laughed nervously, “We just tripped while running–total accident, nothing to do with Sharon.”
Sharon’s expression instantly warmed. She tilted her head at her brothers. “I didn’t fight.”
One of them said, “Mm, Shari’s a good kid.”
Another said, “We knew our Shari’s the most well–behaved. Of course, she wouldn’t fight.”
Yet another said, “Exactly!”
Sharon nodded solemnly, beaming up at them. Before climbing into the car, she shot a pointed look at the Pierces, who all flinched.
One of the Pierces said, “Did we say the right stuff just now?”
Another said, “P–probably? Or I think my ribs’d be next.”
Yet another said, “Let’s bounce. We can’t mess with her.”
They thought, ‘What if we piss off Sharon and she beats us up at school? We don’t have any backing and can’t fight her. Ugh, school’s a nightmare these days!‘
Ashley stamped her foot in frustration. Seriously, was Sharon that terrifying? And the Pierces were such cowards. When school started, she’d teach Sharon a lesson at the academy. ‘Humph, this isn’t over!‘ she thought.
