Chapter 39 Biased Love
Alexander was behind the account “Only Loves Milly.”
Alexander sent a message, “Milly, don’t cry. I’ll send you gifts.”
Milly’s lips curled up in a smug smile, and her eyes sparkled with pleasure. Amelia had always loved Alexander a lot. She must feel devastated inside now that she can see how he favors one side.
Milly looked at Amelia’s livestream, bu
Alexander’s gifts.
Amelia was still busy selling apples and acting like she hadn’t seen
Alexander felt uneasy as he sat in the Summers family villa, holding his phone. He thought Amelia would be back soon, but it had been three days since
She had said anything.
Amelia used to show up within two days with his favorite gifts to say sorry.
Alexander had always thought Amelia was beneath him. She was bad at everything and always chased after men. But she always did what he wanted and made him delicious meals. Well, if you had a dog around for years, you’d start to care about it.
He’d just logged out of his game when he saw that Milly was live streaming. He clicked on the stream and saw that she was having an online battle against Amelia.
Alexander breathed a sigh of relief. Amelia was probably still upset about Milly stealing Nolan away, that’s why she hadn’t come to cook for him. Even so, taking out her frustration on him wasn’t right.
Because of that, he sent ten gifts and only stayed in Milly’s livestream deliberately, not visiting Amelia’s stream at all.
He was certain Amelia would recognize him. But from start to finish, Amelia’s expression never changed. She calmly answered questions from viewers sending messages.
“I don’t know who’s sending the gifts. It has nothing to do with me. Let’s focus on the apples, everyone.”
Alexander was furious when he heard her say that. He sent dozens more gifts, nearly spending 2000 dollars
in a fit.
The site would post notices about these big spenders everywhere, so everyone watching would see them and click on them. As a result of his actions, Milly’s audience continued to grow.
“Milly, don’t burn yourself out. While aiding agriculture is good, our family isn’t short on money.”
Milly’s eyes filled with gratitude when she saw this message. “Thank you for your concern, Alexander. I may be well–off, but helping others brings me happiness.”
Watching Milly’s interaction with Alexander, the viewers realized that she wasn’t faking it. She was a wealthy heiress.
So what was going on between her and that other streamer?
While Milly and Alexander played siblings, Amelia continued to sell apples. Her indifference made Alexander uncomfortable. He wanted to pop into Amelia’s stream, but felt like that would be admitting fault.
He continued to send comments showing his concern for her and stayed in the stream the whole time.

Meanwhile, Amelia noticed the orders for apples were rising, so a faint smile appeared on her lips.
“We’ve finally sold 2,000 dollars‘ worth of apples, which is 10,000 kg of apples. I appreciate all of your help, but I hurt my knee last night and need to take care of it. I also need to get in touch with the fruit farmers to make arrangements for packing and shipping your orders. I’ll see you all this afternoon.”
Many people thought she would continue selling because of the momentum from the drama, but she ended her stream so abruptly that those waiting for drama felt so unsatisfied.
When Milly saw that Amelia ended the stream first, she put on a worried tone and said to the camera, “You should go check on Amelia. She must be upset, so don’t do this next time. When she streams again, make sure to send her some gifts too.”
When Alexander heard that Amelia might be upset, he felt better. He quickly commented, “I’m not doing that. Who knows why she suddenly ran off to Sienna Valley this time? Either she’s trying to get someone’s attention, or she just wants to make things difficult for you, Milly.”
“Don’t talk about her like that. Never mind, play your games. I’ll keep selling these apples. I should be able to finish the task in a few days.”
Alexander kept looking at his phone after he left the stream, hoping that Amelia would call him. But he grew even more frustrated when nobody called him after ten minutes.
Meanwhile, Amelia met with the coordinator for the Agricultural Aid project, who looked apologetic.
“Ms. Summers, there’s something I need to tell you. The farmers had signed an agreement with Ms. Milly’s team last night. The orders you sold might not be able to be fulfilled because they don’t plan to work with you. They trust Ms. Milly more.”
Amelia’s face remained neutral as she looked the coordinator in the eye.
He scratched his head awkwardly. “Ms. Milly’s team is selling at a lower price, but she’s providing 2 million dollars to subsidize the farmers. They realized that her offer was more than enough to purchase all the
Last apples and they’d earn more money than they had in the past. So they chose not to work with you. night, I wanted to inform you, but Ms. Milly said you should continue selling first.”
