Love in New Memories
Chapter 38 Slandering Evidence

Milly’s eyes flashed with jealousy for a brief moment before she called out softly, “Amelia, I didn’t think you would come to Sienna Valley this time. Everyone at home is worried about you.”
Amelia gave a faint smile and leaned back in her chair.
“Why are you worried about me? I haven’t heard from anyone since I’ve been away from home for so long. You say you didn’t know I was going to Sienna Valley, but you sure do know how to steal my clients.
Milly’s eyes grew pitiful. “I didn’t steal your clients. My prices are lower, so people naturally came to me.”
Amelia pulled out a photo from her phone and held it up to the camera. “Here’s a picture of Milly kissing my fiancé. I had already broken up with him before I came to Sienna Valley, so the idea that I’m using an Agricultural Aid project to chase after a man is pure nonsense.
“Milly here really cares about my ex–fiancé. She cared for him so much that she even took care of him in bed. I have pictures of them kissing and what happened after that. Is anyone interested?” As soon as she finished speaking, the live chat exploded.
“Damn! I’ve never seen a streamer this bold!”
“The photo just flashed by. We couldn’t see the faces clearly. Maybe it’s fake and she’s just trying to smear Milly.”
“But Milly’s face changed. She looks awful now, while Amelia seems calm and collected. I’m siding with Amelia on this one.”
Amelia glanced at the wild comments, not forgetting to promote her apples.
“I’m selling apples for 9.90 for 10 kg, and I’m not taking any money for this. This live stream is officially authorized. You can call the government officials directly if you have any questions. Fruit farmers lost a lot of money this year because of the sudden rains. I just want to help them get better. It’s not too expensive, and if it’s too cheap, it’ll hurt the farmers‘ feelings.”
Her voice carried a steady, reassuring strength. She took the opportunity to back herself up.
“Also, I only let people from nearby cities buy. I can’t promise the quality if it’s too far away. I’d be happy to get as many orders as possible if I were getting a commission. You all saw the view count on the stream last night. I would have finished my work a long time ago if everyone had bought.”
The people who were criticizing her paused. That made sense. If she was taking a cut, she should want more orders, not fewer.
But last night, Amelia had been stopping people from distant areas from buying. Meanwhile, Milly’s stream had no such restrictions, urging everyone to place orders.
On camera, Milly’s expression turned ugly, but she quickly composed herself.
“Amelia, I don’t know why you’re slandering me like this. Is it because no one from home called you? But Mom and Dad are still angry with you, and I’ve been doing my best to mediate between you.” As Milly spoke, tears began to cry.
Amelia took a sip of water, not at all moved by how sad Milly was. “My ex–fiancé isn’t very smart. He sent me the video of you two in bed together to make me break off the engagement. Stop crying right now, or I’ll stream the video live.”

Milly’s tears stopped instantly, her face turning pale. She wasn’t sure if Nolan had done that, but she knew he had tried to force Amelia to end the engagement.
The viewers changed their minds when they saw Milly stop crying.
“She stopped crying. The video must be real, right?”
“So she got involved with her future brother–in–law, and now she’s trying to sabotage her sister’s agricultural livestream?
“I wanted to say that she looked like a queen of drama. She looks so good that she doesn’t look like she’s here to help farmers at all. She’s just a spoiled princess.”
She had always thought poorly of this so–called Agricultural Aid. As a Summers family heir, she got millions of dollars in pocket money. Now she had to talk to these “lowly” people online. She would never have put up with this disgust if the family business hadn’t wanted the tourism development project.
Amelia watched Milly, but didn’t force her to end the stream. After all, the viewers loved drama. If Milly left, it wouldn’t be as entertaining.
When Amelia looked into the camera, her lips turned into a beautiful smile. “The apples–in my stream are worth buying. It’s sweet and crisp, with no wormholes. You can place your order again if you canceled it before. Please give them a try.”
It was hard for anyone to resist Amelia’s open and honest attitude and clear gaze.
In a flash, orders began to skyrocket, while Milly’s stream saw a sharp drop in viewers.
Milly made herself keep streaming, even though her face was stiff and awkward. She was scared Amelia had something on her and didn’t know what to say.
Just then, someone started sending a flurry of gifts into her stream. Each one was worth 200 dollars, and ten were sent in a flash.
Milly was surprised, then managed a smile. “Thank you for the generous gift.”
When someone sends money, their username turns gold and their comments stand out for everyone to see.
