Chapter 167
Lydia had everything planned. She was supposed to be the most popular figure in the academy. Returning from abroad, she’d vowed to make a name for herself at the House of Ivory and secure her place.
But since Sharon arrived, the academy’s attention was drawn by her. Lydia’s presence was completely overshadowed. She couldn’t stand that country bumpkin stealing the spotlight.
Just then, someone approached Lydia and said, “The empty bed in the next dorm finally!
“Did you find out who it is?” Lydia asked.
“It seems to be someone from the Vance family,” the person replied.
Lydia frowned. “Another from the Vance family?”
has a new occupant.”
With Sharon already stealing the show, there shouldn’t be more freshmen from the Vance family. She hadn’t heard anything about this before.
“Her name is Karen. She got in through the Dolan family’s connections. She’s been on sick leave these past few days, but she’ll come to the dorm to sort her things today and officially report tomorrow.”
“Karen? Who’s this Karen?” Lydia felt the name was familiar, but couldn’t match the name with the face.
“She was the sister of the former head of the Vance family. But after Sharon returned and took the position, Karen disappeared. Everyone thought she wasn’t eligible for admission, but the Dolan family managed to get her in.”
Lydia’s expression remained indifferent. Karen was from a fallen branch of the family. In the past, she might have tried to befriend Karen, but now that the family head had changed, Lydia didn’t have time for such insignificant people.
“Ms. Whitmore, Karen had a terrible relationship with Sharon before. She could be our tool to deal with Sharon. After all, they’re both from the Vance family, so it’ll be the Vance family’s reputation at stake anyway,” said Lydia’s lackey.
“Good idea,” Lydia nodded. If Karen were willing to cooperate, Lydia might as well make things easier for Karen in the academy.
Outside the ordinary dormitory, Sharon stood at the door, facing her eight brothers and Nicholas.
She waved and said, “I’m going in now.”
“Sharon,” the eight brothers called out.
Sharon turned around. All eight brothers were looking at her.
Richard waved and said, “Take good care of yourself. Let us know if you need anything.”
“Okay. I won’t worry you guys,” Sharon said. Glancing at Nicholas, she turned and entered the dorm.
With her brothers around, she couldn’t talk to Nicholas privately. She knew exactly how possessive they were.
Watching Sharon disappear into the dorm building, Richard slowly turne
“Yes,” Nicholas replied.
I to Nicholas and asked, “I heard you’re the chief instructor?”
“So, you’re in charge of approving all leave requests?” Richard asked arrogantly, as if ready to punch Nicholas if he said no.
Nicholas remained calm. “I’ve already approved her leave.”

He didn’t need others to tell him what to do. He knew how to handle it.
Richard’s expression softened slightly. “Good. Sharon needs to rest during this time.”
“I know. I’ll handle it.” Nicholas‘ answers were flawless. Richard couldn’t find a single reason to pick a fight. But just thinking about Nicholas stealing
Sharon made him dislike the man.
Facing the critical gazes of Sharon’s eight brothers, Nicholas remained composed, neither humble nor haughty.
Finally, Marvin patted Nicholas on the shoulder. “Take care of Sharon. Our little princess has many suitors. If you don’t treat her right, someone else will take your place.”
Nicholas was being threatened again. If it were from anyone else, they wouldn’t live to see tomorrow.
Nicholas watched the eight brothers leave, his eyes narrowing. No one but him would ever dare to date Sharon.
On her way back to the dorm, many people stared at Sharon.
She returned to her room as usual. Elise looked at her worriedly. “Ms. Vance, are you okay?”
“I’m fine. Periods come every month. I’m not going to die,” Sharon said.
Hugging a hot water bag, Sharon lazily leaned against the bed. Elise placed a plate of desserts beside her. “Have some if you’re hungry,” Elise said.
Sharon nodded, picked up her phone, and, as expected, saw numerous unread messages and missed calls.
Her brothers really did pay close attention to her.
Every day about My Sister updated regularly, and they always invited her to watch with them.
Sharon hadn’t posted a single tweet, yet she’d gained many followers and become an internet sensation, all thanks to her influential actor brother.
After watching her brothers‘ Every Day about My Sister, her mood improved. Then she switched to a black app, entered a string of codes, and the phone interface changed immediately.
Cameron: [Nick, you’re trending on the campus forum.]
Sharon: [?]
Riley: [I heard Mr. Baxter carried you to the infirmary when you got your period?]
Sharon was silent for a moment. That was exactly what happened.
Jannie: [Mr. Baxter even wanted to donate blood to you, worried you’d lose too much? Hahaha, he’s so cute.]
Hearing this, Sharon blushed. She thought Nicholas was so stupid.
