Chapter 156
Justin could only force an awkward smile, glancing toward the distance and saying, “Don’t you know this guy named Miko?”
Sharon followed his gaze and saw Nicholas. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she recalled that Caesar had called Nicholas by that nickname a few times before.
At that time, she hadn’t thought much of it, assuming it was just a nickname and never connecting the man to Niko.
She remembered the scene when they’d first met at the Race of Champions, and coincidentally, Niko had been there too.
Sharon wondered, ‘Are they the same person?‘ A flicker of confusion crossed her eyes–this coincidence was strange, but she couldn’t be certain.
After all, she’d left early by helicopter and never gone back, so she had no idea if they were actually the same person.
“Sharon, you don’t seriously think Niko is Mr. Baxter, do you?” Justin said.
“Isn’t he?” Sharon turned her head, staring at Justin. “Are you kidding me?”
“I’m not. I’m just telling the truth. Mr. Baxter does have the same nickname, but there are lots of people using it privately. You can check it on the academy forum,” Justin said.
“So Niko isn’t Nicholas?” she asked.
“Can’t say for sure. Mr. Baxter is part of the House of Obsidian, after all. But he rarely gets his hands dirty these days–he’s the president, you know. Nick generally doesn’t take action himself.” Justin said.
The complicated look on Sharon’s face faded. She’d almost convinced herself Niko was Nicholas.
“Sharon, if the person you’re looking for really is Mr. Baxter, what’re you gonna do?” Justin asked cheekily, clearly hoping for drama.
Sharon rolled her eyes, slapping his shoulder. “Guess.”
Justin quickly rubbed his shoulder, pretending it was about to break. He hated that Sharon needed his help, but she was still threatening him.
Justin sighed, knowing this errand wasn’t easy. Plenty of people shared the name “Niko,” but not many had the ability to go up against Sharon.
He stared deeply at Nicholas, silently saying a prayer for him in his heart.
Sharon marched straight to the cafeteria, ready to eat.
She rubbed her lower abdomen, feeling slightly uncomfortable. Her temper had been too volatile these past two days–maybe her period was coming.
Thinking about tomorrow’s run, Sharon frowned. She thought, ‘Come on, I can’t be this unlucky, can I?‘
“Eating so early?” Caesar appeared beside her, stroking his chin. “Mr. Baxter’s behavior was a bit harsh, but that’s just how he is. You’d suffer if you dated him–wanna consider me instead?”
Sharon didn’t even spare Caesar a glance. She was in a foul mood and didn’t feel like saying a word.
Caesar wasn’t offended, just watched Sharon leave. Then he turned and walked over to Justin. “Buddy, you into Nick’s fiancée?”
Justin turned red. “What are you talking nonsense for?”
Caesar said, “Don’t play coy–even a fool can tell. By the way, did you know Sharon before? You two seem pretty tight.”

Chapter 156
Ha pondered. Sharon might look like a cute girl, but she was actually hard to approach, with an icy personality. He was curious how Justin had gon
know her.
Justin drawled, “We met on the Hunter Forum.”
“Is she a killer?” Caesar asked.
Justin squinted. “Can’t say. If you’re curious, ask her yourself.”
Caesar froze. He wanted to, but Sharon always ignored him. The thought that someone was blowing off a super–rich heir like him made him furious,
“Ms. Vance, saved you a seat.” In the cafeteria, Elise waved cheerfully, so Sharon walked over to Elise’s table.
These people were openly picking on the Vance family’s side branches–Sharon had to look out for them.
Sharon sat in the middle seat, with a plate of cookies in front of her. Elise must have made them.
Sharon thought, ‘No wonder I’ve been craving sweets lately–my period’s coming.‘
She didn’t hold back, grabbing a cookie and taking a bite. It tasted and felt great.
When mealtime came, Nicholas naturally headed to the cafeteria too.
Instructors had different meals from students. Nicholas ordered an extra portion, the delicate plate filled with food. He walked with long strides straight to the first–floor lobby.
Nicholas had always drawn attention, and people stared at him all the way.
Margaret arrived a little later. By the time she bought her food, Nicholas had already gone to the first floor. She stared at his back, then looked down at the extra portion in her hand, laughing bitterly.
“Stop staring. You’re pining for him, but he’s pining for someone else.” Elizabeth took the plate from Margaret’s hand and went to her seat to eat. Margaret forced herself to look away, no longer willing to watch the painful scene. She just hadn’t expected Nicholas to be so attentive to a girl. Everyone would like a girl as cute as Sharon, given her good family background and bloodline advantages.
But Margaret felt resentful. She didn’t understand why she couldn’t compare to a woman who’d only been around Nicholas for a few months.
