Chapter 121
Chapter 121
Malcolm said, “Sharon is the one behind the Hunter Forum!”
The moment those words left his mouth, everyone erupted. “No way!” they shouted in disbelief.
One of the elders wondered incredulously, ‘How is that even possible? She’s just a girl. How could she be the owner of the Hunter Forum?
Malcolm continued, “None of you believe it, huh? Well, the forum admin let something slip. He said the account that posted the bounty was the boss
spare account.
“I had a hunch it might be linked to Sharon. Then, when she sent me the Hunter Coins, I realized the account she used was that same spare account. What does that tell you, huh?”
Another elder pushed back. “That still doesn’t prove anything. What if she was just borrowing the account?”
Malcolm replied, “Fair point. But Sharon’s account has one billion Hunter Coins in it. Do you think the Baxter family could cough up that kind of money on short notice? Use your heads. Who else could pull something like this off?”
He took a sip of coffee and added, “Look at it another way. Yeah, maybe she’s not the boss. But even then, her status in the Hunter Forum has to be sky- high.
“So, ask yourselves, can you really afford to cross her? She’s a little hellion, just like Thomas.”
At the mention of Thomas, a visible chill passed through the room. Even after twenty years, the shadow of that name still lingered.
Edmund was słówly regaining his composure–mostly because the name Thomas alone was enough to snap anyone back to reality.
Edmund mused, ‘Right… we’ve all been focused on Mrs. Vance, and forgot about Thomas.
‘All eight of the Vance brothers and Sharon come straight from Thomas. Man, sometimes you just gotta admit that blood runs strong.’
Edmund still tried to protest, asking, “If Sharon becomes head of the family, then what about Mrs. Vance? Are they really going to treat her well?”
Malcolm frowned, “How they treat Mrs. Vance is their business. Why are you getting involved? What, you planning to marry her yourself?”
Edmund quickly waved his hands. Roxanne wasn’t his type at all.
Only then did Malcolm look away. “But for now, let’s keep Sharon’s identity under wraps. She clearly isn’t trying to reveal who she really is, so it’s best not to mess with her.”
Not that anyone could take her on even if they wanted to. Malcolm had to admit that each new generation seemed more terrifying than the last.
Malcolm turned to the room and said, “Alright. If anyone still has questions or concerns, speak up now. I’ll explain everything.”
He thought grimly, ‘Let’s not have another scare like earlier. I nearly had a heart attack. Do they want to kill me or what?‘
Edmund said nothing, which meant he had no objections.
Only then did Malcolm lead the elders out of the room. “We just held a brief meeting and went over everything. We’ve come to an agreement. The general vote will now officially begin.”
Sharon sat calmly in her chair, with all eight of her brothers standing behind her. By tradition, only the family head could sit. The others, Nicholas included, had to remain standing.
When it came time to vote, the remaining families of the Four Great Families, the Baxter, Pierce, and Dolan families, didn’t even hesitate before voting in favor.

Chapter 121
As for the Elders‘ Council, not one person stood in opposition. The result couldn’t have been more clear–cut..
Malcolm held the final vote in his hand as he stepped up to the entrance of the main hall. Looking out at the crowd, he declared, “the votes are in
“From this moment on, the Vance family’s leadership will pass to Thomas‘ branch. The new head of the family will be the Vance family’s heiress, Ms. Sharon Vance.”
The people outside immediately broke into hushed murmurs.
Someone asked, “The head of the family is just a young girl?”
Another chimed in, “Yeah, I thought it would be Richard. Based on seniority and capability, it should’ve been him.”
Someone else said, “You clearly don’t know how much the eight Vance brothers dote on their little sister. Naming her head of the family is probably their way of spoiling her and making up for all those years they weren’t around.”
Another person added, “So all that talk about the Vance family making a comeback must’ve been just rumors.”
It wasn’t surprising that people would think that way. After all, putting a girl that young in charge? It sounded like a joke.
Still, among the crowd were members from the Vance family’s extended branches. Upon hearing the announcement, they quietly slipped away to report the news back home.
Malcolm closed the folder before looking over at Sharon. “In a few days, we’ll hand over the Vance family’s insignia and a few internal matters.”
“Alright,” Sharon replied with a nod. Then, she turned to her brothers and said, “From now on, we’re the ones representing the Vance family. No one is ever going to call us outsiders again.”
What had once been taken from them, she had finally taken back with her own hands today.
Richard, feeling emotional, patted Sharon’s head. “You’re amazing, Shari. We’re all so proud of you.”
If we still couldn’t see how extraordinary our little sister is, all these years would’ve been for nothing.
The eight brothers of the Vance family gathered around Sharon, all smiles and good vibes. It was a cozy, wholesome sight that could melt anyone’s heart. Nicholas watched the scene with a quiet smile. He honestly hadn’t expected things to end up like this.
Arnold leaned in and whispered, “Your fiancée is the head of the family now. Doesn’t that light a fire in you?”
In other words, he was questioning whether Nicholas had any desire to take over as the head of the Baxter family.
