Marda shumped to the ground, staring blankly at the grotesque cresture that had just died in front of him. He swallowed hard and then suddenl his arms around Sharon’s leg. “Shari, I’m scared.”
He might’ve been a notorious playboy, but there were still things that matterad in him.
“Don’t be, May. I’ve got you, Sharon replied, patting his shoulder. “I’ll smash every last one of theth”
A faint red gleam flickered in her eyes as she stared at the Velvys lurking nearby. The sheer pressure radiating from her presence froze the creatures in place they didn’t dare make a move
“Oh, you’re amazing, Shari. I’m seriously touched.” Marvin gushed, nose bleeding from the emotion
Without a word, Joan passed over two towels–one for Marvin to wipe Isis nose, the other for Sharon to clean her hands. After all, nobody could guess just how gross those creatures really were.
Richard pressed a hand to his forehead and exhaled deeply. “Come on now, Max. You’re the older brother here Inwardly, he groaned, “Seriously? How can you let Shari protect you like that? Don’t you have any shame?”
Marvin was shaking like a leat but didn’t pay him any mind. As far as he was concerned, with his little sister around, he had nothing to fear
Turning slightly, Sharon locked eyes with Susan and shot hora taunting grin.
Susan had been full of hersell, but the moment she met Sharon’s unnerving gaze, a shiver ran down her back. She couldn’t help but think. This gris seriously bad news”
In a flash, Sharon materialized in front of Susan and wrapped her hand around Susan’s neck. The sudden attack happened so fast that no one even anal it coming.
Every single one of Susan’s high–ranking martial artists stood frozen in complete shock. One of them cried out in alarm, “Mrs. Susan Pierce!”

Even so, Sharon’s grip slowly tightened. Her eyes were cold as she watched Susan struggle in her grasp, her face turning a sickly shade of purple and her makeup running down in streaks.
Sharon tilted her head slightly, fixed her gaze on the man who had stepped forward, and threatened, “Move one more inch, and snap her neck.”
There was a chilling weight behind her words, and the pressure radiating from her made it hard to breathe. Her eyes had turned a deep, blood–red color -she didn’t even look like the same person anymore.
The high–ranking martial artists were visibly thrown off. One of them c couldn’t help but wonder, ‘Wasn’t she just a soft, adorable girl a second ago? How had she turned into a brutal little psycho in a blink?
“Why do I weirdly find that kind of cool? Is it just because she’s that cute!”
The man stopped in his tracks, jaw tight with tension. Then, a voice cut through the standoff “if you so much as hurt my mom, me and my family will stop at nothing today. We’ll wipe every last one of you Vance bastards out!”
It was Nolan. He had been hiding in the shadows, directing things from behind the scenes. But the second he saw Sharon lay a hand on his mother, he couldn’t stay quiet anymore.
“Go ahead, try me,” Sharon sneered, dragging Susan’s body with her as she swept her gaze across the crowd. “No offense, but there’s not a single one of you here who can beat me.”
No one had expected Sharon to be this powerful. Only now, under the suffocating pressure rolling off her, did they truly realize that an S–level rank wasn’t just for show.

Suddenly, Malcolm strolled out from the side and sighed dramatically, “Oh dear, why’d I
Then, thick skinned as ever, he sled up next to Sharon and said, “You’re way too young to be getting this led up. Don’t you have a the dirty work.”
Nicholas stepped up beside her and asked, “You’re angry?
Sharon answered, “Yeah, I’m really angry. May almost got hurt just now
Marvin raised his hand, murmuring. “I was traumatized too.”
Sharon gave a solemn nod, her expression dead serious as she pointed to her brother as if demanding emotional compensation on his behalf. “He was
traumatized too”
Nicholas glanced down at the barely conscious Susan before speaking calmly. “Apologize to him, Mrs. Susan Pierce.”
Her mind went blank. She still hadn’t processed what had just happened, and now her life was already in someone else’s hands. Her lips parted slightly,
but no words came out.
As Mrs. Susan Pierce, swallowing her pride and apologizing to a girl like that was almost unbearable.
Nicholas remained indifferent as he said, “Do it. The Elders‘ Council can handle the rest.”
The moment those words left his mouth, Susan’s face went paper–white, cold sweat soaking her back.
She thought in shock, ‘Nicholas actually told Sharon to kill me? How could he? I’m his aunt!‘
Meanwhile, no one from the Baxter family said a word. One of them thought, ‘She really should’ve seen this coming when she was acting all high and mighty. Then again, she probably didn’t. Who would’ve guessed Sharon would turn out to be that dangerous?‘
Malcolm let out a quiet sigh, his head starting to ache. “Sharon, someone like you shouldn’t be messing yourself up over this. I saw exactly what happened just now, so trust me, we’ll make this right for you.”
He hadn’t stepped in earlier because he was still weighing his options. On one side was the powerful Pierce family, while on the other was the person pulling strings behind the Hunter Forum. Neither was someone he could afford to offend.
Malcolm had assumed the Pierce family would at least hold out a little longer. But to no one’s surprise, they folded instantly, letting a girl corner them without breaking a sweat.
Nolan’s eyes were red with rage as he growled, “Sharon, don’t you dare. If you touch her, the Pierce family will haunt you to our graves!”
“Then all of you can go down with her!” Sharon snapped. Her eyes went cold, and her soft hand suddenly clenched tight. She thought, ‘It’s just crushing one enemy. No big deal”
