Tyler’s POV
He hadn’t even flipped to the end of the file because he couldn’t bear to read it anymore.
Letting out a long sigh, Tyler closed his eyes. His chest hurt so badly he could hardly breathe.
He’d been fooled for over a decade, missing out on Clarine, the woman who truly loved him and had such a pure heart.
For over ten years, he’d helped Clara repeatedly hurt Clarine, even condoning Clara’s actions.
What had he done to her? She was supposed to be the girl he loved.
Tyler sat motionless in his study for a long time, like a statue.
The air was thick with silence and a heavy, oppressive atmosphere.
His assistant stood by, not daring to speak, not wanting to disturb Tyler.
After what felt like an eternity, Tyler finally stirred.
He slowly looked up, his eyes bloodshot and glistening with tears.
“Sir, what should we do next?”
He checked his phone. “I just received another message from Miss Clara. She’s asking when you’re going to see her.”
“Mr. Jacobson, should I arrange for you to go to the hospital now?”
Tyler suddenly let out a hoarse laugh. “Go? Of course, I’ll go. Since she’s so eager to see me, I certainly won’t disappoint her. But before I go, I need to prepare a few things.”
The next morning, Clara was woken up by Jacobson’s maid. She was dressed in a custom–made gown and brought to the hospital’s private garden.
The garden had been decorated overnight with dazzling lights and was covered in fresh roses flown in from France.
The grand gesture from the Jacobsons‘ heir was enough to leave anyone speechless.
Having heard the commotion, people from the hospital flocked to witness the true beauty who could inspire such a grand gesture from the Jacobsons‘ future head.
‘Oh my god! Look at this setup! Tyler Jacobson is really going all out!”
‘No kidding. I heard he’s going to propose to the woman he loves.”
‘Wait, didn’t he marry Clarine Robinson three years ago? Why is he proposing to someone else
now?”
‘You just don’t get it.”
Clara stood at the entrance, a triumphant smile spreading across her face as she entered the
scene.
She had schemed for years; despite an accident that left her in a coma for three years, everything was finally back on track.
Clarine, you truly lost. You lost completely.
She slowly strolled into the garden, standing to the side, waiting for Tyler.

After a while, a commotion in the distance signaled Tyler’s arrival.
He wore a custom–tailored suit jacket, which made him appear even more noble and elegant.
Clara’s eyes lit up with excitement when she saw him. She was so happy she almost couldn’t stand still.
She could already envision her bright future as Mrs. Jacobson.
Tyler approached her with a smile, pulling out a diamond ring.
The moment the ring appeared, it blinded everyone present. The diamond embedded in it was
over ten carats.
The diamond embedded in it was over ten carats.
Tyler glanced at the onlookers and announced loudly, “As everyone knows, Miss Clara Robinson is exceptionally talented and renowned for her good name, admired by many, including the Jacobsons, my family.”
“Miss Clara Robinson, will you marry into my family?”
Without hesitation, Clara let Tyler place the ring on her finger and nodded. “I do.”
A sarcastic smirk curled Tyler’s lips. “Good. From today on, we’re family. When I see you from now on, I’ll have to call you ‘Auntie‘.”
Clara looked utterly bewildered. “What?”
