“Dad, we’re not divorcing.” I told my father. “She’s just upset lately, and she’s making bad decisions-”
“What possible reason would she have to pull this stunt? Sending divorce papers on my birthday?” His voice trembled with anger.
I gritted my teeth and swallowed hard, struggling to find the right words. Would I lie again? I don’t usually lie; I’m always open about my plans, but Rosella couldn’t seem to grasp what I wanted.
How could she have sent that gift if she’s locked inside the mansion? Did someone betray
me?
Tming to fix this-”
“Sir, it’s my fault,” Sasha intervened, her voice trembling. “Luna went mad when she found out… I’m staying with the Alpha in their house.”
My eyes snapped to her, disbelief filling my chest. Did she think that would help? I had already told her no one should know about our situation beyond the housemaids. Does she think that confessing like this would solve anything? Stupid woman.
My father staggered backward, shocked by the revelation.
“What kind of horrible joke is this, Darius? You better explain yourself!” He ranted, his hand clutching his chest in distress.
Sasha fell to her knees in front of him. My mother gasped in disbelief.
“What the hell are you doing?“, I couldn’t hold back my anger any longer. I shouted, ther words cutting through the air.
I rushed to pull her up, afraid the stress would harm the baby, but she refused to stand. “The Alpha has nothing to do with this,” she sobbed, her voice strained. “I think I upset the Luna, and-”
“Of course y you did!” My mother’s voice was sharp with disgust. “How dare you have an affair with my son and expect his wife to be fine with it?”
My mother glared at me, her face twisted with anger. “You took a pregnant woman as your mistress? Is this how I raised you?”
“Mom, I’ll handle this,” I said, trying to maintain control. I reached down to lift Sasha, but my father’s voice interrupted.
“Your wife is sick, and you bring this mistress as your date? How dare you ruin our family name like this! Shameful!”
Sasha was already in my arms, but I gripped her too tightly in my fury. She winced, crying softly, but I couldn’t bring myself to ease my hold.
“I want you to end whatever relationship you have with this woman,” my father ordered, his eyes full of disgust as he pointed at Sasha and me.

“I can’t,” I answered honestly, my voice low.

She’s carrying my son, my heir. That’s what you wanted too, right? I wanted to blurt out on him but chose not to.
“And why can’t you?!” My father’s voice raised, and the party started murmuring, the guests now aware of the tension.
The council members quickly ushered us inside the hotel to discuss the matter in private.
I heard the MC trying to regain control of the situation, attempting to bring some. semblance of elegance back to the party, but I didn’t care. Sasha’s confession had already made everything worse.
This wasn’t an affair. This was me trying to build a family.
Why can’t you?” My father’s voice cracked with bitterness. “You’d rather have this woman.
1 your wife?”
- u.
I lowered my gaze, planning to turn away, but Sasha wouldn’t stay quiet.
“Sir, I am pregnant with Alpha’s child,” she blurted out. “I’m not just some other woman or an ordinary affair. I’m the one who could give the Alpha his heir.”
“Shut up!” I yelled at her. “Fucking shut up!”
“Alpha…” I heard her choking and soon she went silent, her lips paling, eyes wide in shock.
I felt uneasy because this looks serious.
“Sasha…” I called softly, but she didn’t respond. “Speak, Sasha! Don’t pull another drama,” ! muttered under my breath, frustration creeping into my words.
She remained still, and after a moment, I heard the voice of her father.
“My Sasha…” he cried. “She can’t be shouted at, Alpha. She was triggered and stopped breathing. The child she’s carrying is in danger!”
My blood ran cold when I heard that. I’looked down at her legs and saw blood streaming. down her thighs. The sight of Rosella losing our child flashed before my eyes.
“Terminate that pregnancy with the woman, Darius,” my father’s voice came, cold and callous, even after seeing Sasha’s distress.
My hands tightened into fists. He couldn’t possibly know that I could no longer have children with Rosella, but that didn’t give him the right to order me to kill my own child.
“No, Dad,” I said, my voice steady with determination. “I will keep this child. I promise, I will fix my marriage with Rosella. We are not divorcing. I will fix everything, but I will never terminate this pregnancy.”
I carried Sasha out of the room and rushed her to the hospital. The doctor’s words about her pregnancy becoming more sensitive only fueled my anger toward Rosella.
If she hadn’t caused that mess with the gift, my father wouldn’t have learned about our situation, and Sasha wouldn’t be in danger. I could have lost another child because of Rosella again.
I don’t think I can let this go, even if she’s my wife.

If she can’t be controlled by being locked up, I’ll find another way to make sure she learns how to behave next time.
“Wait for punishment, Rosella,” I said through gritted teeth.
