Chapter 75
“Let’s take a break,” Sharon said, suddenly distracted. She hadn’t expected Nicholas’s voice to be so pleasant, especially in this situation
She pulled over and glanced at the stylish motorcycle. “I really love this gift. It’s exactly what I wanted,” she said, impressed.
After taking it for a spin, she couldn’t find any flaws. She particularly liked the engine. The motorcycle was expensive, but the real standout was the impressive customization.
As Sharon slowly got off the bike, Nicholas thoughtfully helped smooth down her skirt to prevent her from tripping.
She noticed the small gesture and smiled. “You seem to know a lot about motorcycles.”
“I did. I used to love adventurous activities. My mom was worried sick for a long time, afraid I’d get hurt,” Nicholas replied.
“Even my brothers didn’t want me to ride alone,” Sharon added. They exchanged glances, both understanding the concern their families had for them
Nicholas suddenly brought up a past event. “On Race of Champions day, I went to find you, but you had left early. Wasn’t the race exciting?”
Sharon’s riding posture and movements had been very skilled, almost professional.
Nicholas had been a little worried at first, given that she didn’t seem like the type to ride motorcycles, but it turned out she was being modest. She was actually very good.
Sharon’s expression changed slightly as she came up with an excuse. “I had to leave early that day because of something unexpected. You know, I came without my family knowing. I almost got caught that day.”
Nicholas nodded in understanding. “Your brothers are just worried about you. If you’re ever interested in motorcycles or want to go watch a race somewhere, you can let me know. They’ll feel better knowing I’m around.”
Sharon agreed. “Sure.” Without Nicholas, she probably wouldn’t have been able to get out today.
She looked up at the sky. “I had a really great time today.” She wondered, ‘I got to do something I’ve always wanted to do, and received such an amazing
gift.‘
“Why don’t I take you somewhere? There’s a great view from the hill,up ahead. It feels like you can almost touch the sky, and you can see the city lights below,” Nicholas offered casually, his tone calm and composed.
It seemed like he was just making a reasonable suggestion, not trying to flirt. Because he looked innocent, not like someone who would cause trouble.
Sharon didn’t suspect anything and got on behind him. After a moment, she asked, “Can I just hold on to you?”
“Sure,” Nicholas replied in his deep voice.
So, Sharon wrapped her arms around his waist. She could tell he had a pretty good build.
As Nicholas revved the engine and focused on the road ahead, his expression turned wild and bold.
He sped up the hill with Sharon on the back.
He finally understood why guys loved taking girls for rides on motorcycles. The thrill of the speed was something he wanted to share, and the girl on the back was the perfect witness.
When they reached the top, they found that someone was already there, with a van parked nearby.
There were a few men and two girls, but it didn’t look like they were on a date.
The girls were trembling and hiding to the side, and they seemed to have injuries. Sharon’s eyes narrowed. She hated bullies, especially those who hurt

women.
One of the men looked up and saw Sharon, and a lecherous smile spread across his face. “Hey, another pretty lady”
