Margaret spoke up directly. “Since Mr. White’s order has already been issued, it’s not just about the invitations; even the family–recommended invitations need to be assessed together. So she’s not an exception. Perhaps she’s just not that lucky”
In the past, Sharon would have been able to enter Oriston Academy directly. Even if she couldn’t go to the House of Obsidian, she could at least stay in the House of Ivory.
But now, with assessments required, the situation was different. That girl, who seemed as delicate as a greenhouse flower, probably wouldn’t have a chance with Oriston Academy for the rest of her life.
Nicholas was destined for greatness and couldn’t be with an ordinary girl. A hint of triumph flickered in Margaret’s eyes; this made her feel much better inside.
“There’s nothing else we can do,” Rufus sighed. Although Dalton was unpredictable, no one dared to go against his orders.
Suddenly, there was a commotion around them, as invitations from other families had also been invalidated.
Rufus couldn’t help but feel a bit regretful, thinking he could have used the invitation to take Sharon away. ‘The girl is a bit too popular. She’s Nicholas’s fiancée and seems to have a not–so–ordinary relationship with Caesar as well,‘ she thought.
Rufus found being a vice principal a bit boring and thought, ‘Why does Dalton have to overshadow me and cut off my sources of income?”
He turned to Margaret. “Why did you come to the party?”
Margaret, who usually only attended student council events and no other commercial gatherings, replied, “Mr. White has another order. He asked me to come here and find the student Prof. Gray invited, the one with an S–level bloodline.”
“Is that student at the party?” Rufus asked.
“Yes, I think so,” Margaret said.
Rufus’s eyes lit up instantly. “Who could it be? It’s been years since there was someone with an S–level bloodline.”
Even the currently top–performing Caesar and Nicholas were only A level. In recent years, an A–level bloodline was already considered very outstanding,
let alone an S–level.
Margaret paused. “I don’t know. Mr. White only gave me the address here and no other information. Prof. Gray is working on a research project and doesn’t see outsiders.”
So no one knew who this S–level bloodline student was specifically. This task was quite challenging.
Most people would have come to the academy by now, but this student had refused, which meant he or she wouldn’t show up voluntarily. Margaret had no idea how to find this student.
Sharon looked puzzled. “Does having an S–level bloodline mean no assessment is needed?”
“Of course. An S–level bloodline is very impressive/But most people can’t really understand what that means.” Margaret’s tone was condescending. “That student will be the academy’s most outstanding talent in the future.”
‘I need to get this person into the student council in advance,‘ she thought to herself, which was why she had come in person.
“Thank you,” Sharon said.
Margaret paused, not quite understanding Sharon’s meaning. She wasn’t complimenting Sharon.

Ashley covered her mouth and laughed. “Sharon, you’re so funny. Margaret was talking about the person with an & level Bloodline, not you Why are you, thanking her? Don’t think that just because you have three invitations, you can compare yourself to someone with an 5 level bloodline. You’re nowhere
near that love!”
People around them quickly thickered. They thought Sharon was getting a bit too full of herself. There was a huge difference between having a regular Invitation and possessing an 5–level bloodline,
Marvin couldn’t stand it anymore. “Shari was just being polite and thanking her. She didn’t say she had an S–level bloodline. What nonsense are you trying to stir up?”
Richard chimed in, “This is Shari’s party. We don’t welcome troublemakers. Get lost.”
Janelle defended her daughter. “What? Do you want to offend someone from the Dolan family?”
Wallace smirked. “Have we ever been short of making enemies?”
“Wally, actually 1-” Sharon began, but her phone vibrated with a video call request.
She glanced at the name and answered calmly. “Hi there, my beauty. I heard today’s your coming–of–age party. Happy birthday.”
“Thanks,” Sharon replied, her tone indifferent.
“Hey, don’t be so cold, will you? It’s been a while since we last met.” The voice on the other end was quite irritating.
Richard clenched his fist, itching to have a private chat with the man on the other side of the call.
On the video call, there was a beautiful beach with several bikini–clad women. The man holding the phone had graying hair and was wearing a flashy
shirt, looking rather sleazy.
Wallace frowned. “Shari, who is he?” This guy didn’t seem like a good person, even less reliable than Rufus.
Margaret’s eyes widened. “M–Mr. White?”
“Hey there, my lovely secretary. Long time no see, you’ve gotten even more beautiful.” Dalton complimented.
Rufus stared. “Dalton, why didn’t you answer my call just now?”
Dalton paused, looking innocent. “Maybe the signal wasn’t great.”
Rufus inwardly rolled his eyes. ‘Yeah, right. Who the hell believes that? You did it on purpose,’ he thought.
Everyone nearby was shocked. The graying–haired man was none other than Dalton, the enigmatic principal of Oriston Academy.
While Vice Principal Rufus looked like a con artist, Principal Dalton looked like a rogue. One was as unreliable as the other. People couldn’t help but wonder if Oriston Academy was on the brink of collapse.
‘No,’ she thought. Ashley was stunned. ‘Why would Mr. White call Sharon, and why did he sound so familiar?‘ Ashley had a bad feeling, and it was growing
stronger.
Nicholas’s gaze intensified. “Mr. White, how did you get my fiancée’s contact information?”
“No misunderstanding here, Sharon and I are old friends. I just wanted to wish her a happy birthday. After all, I am a gentleman,” Dalton explained.
Sharon couldn’t help but roll her eyes. She coldly interrupted him. “Are you
done?”
“Done,” Dalton said.
“Bye,” Sharon said.

“Wait,” Margaret interjected, stepping forward and looking at the phone screen. “Dalton, Prof. Gray has been working on his research project. So wh exactly is the student with the S–level bloodline? Can you give us a hint?”
With only the address provided, Margaret was at a loss.
The room fell silent. Dalton dramatically pushed up his black sunglasses and said in an infuriatingly smug tone, “Don’t tell me you guys still don’t know?”
Everyone stared at the phone screen, wishing they
