I sat in the examination room while the doctor treated the wound on my temple.
The door was suddenly thrown open with a “bang,” like a wild beast bursting in.
Rowan’s presence was so intense that the air instantly froze, startling the doctor.
“Is it serious?” His voice was hoarse.
“Just a superficial wound,” the doctor replied without looking up.
I said nothing more and got up to leave. He followed close behind, paying for me, grabbing my
medication, moving as efficiently as a model mate.

“She’s just a spoiled child who speaks without boundaries. Why bother taking issue with her?”
As I listened to him make excuses for her, the casual “spoiled” in his tone made me clench my fists.

After a long moment, I said softly: “In the future, I won’t bully her. And I won’t interfere in your affairs. But please keep her in check–don’t let her appear before me again.”
“My feelings for her… are like those for a sister,” he said, somewhat guiltily.
“Right, a sister,” I laughed softly. “Congratulations on your new sister, then.”
“Just drive,” I pulled the suit jacket tighter around me, my nose lightly brushing against its lingering
scent.
Rowan finally noticed the clothes I was wearing, his expression changing: “Whose is this?”
I looked out the window without turning back: “My new brother’s, just adopted.”
His face instantly turned frighteningly cold.
The next second, he yanked the suit jacket off me, opened the car window, and threw it out.
“Are you crazy?!” I pushed the car door open in shock and anger.
He also got out, pulled me back, pressed me against the car door, and then without warning, kissed

I bit my lip hard, struggling.
He gripped my chin, forcibly prying my lips open, kissing me fiercely and dominantly with
punishment and anger.
When he finally had enough, he breathed heavily near my ear and warned in a low voice:
“Don’t provoke me like this. Don’t use someone else’s life to spite me.”
“Next time, I’ll kill him.”
I remained coldly silent.
The suit jacket was never recovered.
I had promised to clean and return it, but now he had thrown it into the rain.
