If it weren’t for that man apologizing earlier, no one would have believed that such a young woman was the famous lapidarist.
Now, everyone was feeling the sting of reality. A young woman like Sharon had already accomplished so much, while they much older had achieved nothing. They couldn’t stand it; life had been so unfair to them.
They envied Richard’s parents for having such unbelievably talented children. Richard and his seven brothers were already freakishly gifted, and now their youngest sister–who seemed like just a normal, adorable girl–turned out to be just as talented.
The rich people watching stood silent for a moment, and then, thinking of their own kids lounging around, doing nothing but partying, they couldn’t help but wish they had a child like this instead.
The difference between children was huge. The ridiculously exceptional ones were always someone else’s kids.
“No way!” Ashley screamed. “How could you possibly be Skyler? This one is Skyler!” She thought, ‘The famous Master Skyler is just a country girl? It’s impossible. I must be dreaming.
The middle–aged man suddenly looked up at Ashley. “Young lady, watch your mouth. She is the real deal. She’s just been out of the public eye for five years, yet none of you were able to recognize her.”
Nicholas caught onto the words “five years” and thought, ‘What a coincidence. Five years ago, that girl also went into hiding.”
He gave Sharon a long, thoughtful look. She was as sweet and innocent as ever, but to everyone’s surprise, she was the famous Master Skyler–the genius lapidary who had taken the world by storm, shrouded in mystery, with works that were always top–tier.
All four major families had once tried to collaborate with Master Skyler, but she had remained elusive, never showing her face.
Then, out of nowhere, a so–called Master Skyler had appeared, only to be exposed as an impostor.
Nicholas’s gaze lingered on Sharon, a mix of emotions swirling in his chest. Knowing that she was so exceptional, he couldn’t help but feel a bit of pressure. He even regretted not being more decisive back then and agreeing to the engagement right away.
He still looked aloof and distant, but his mind had wandered elsewhere. He was thinking about what gift he should get for Sharon.
The middle–aged man scrambled to Sharon and pulled a chair over. With a sycophantic grin, he wiped it off. “Please, have a seat. Let me know if you need anything.”
Sharon remained still. She glanced at the broken pieces on the floor. “Is this a fake?”
“It’s a fake,” the man said hurriedly. “I admire you so much that I couldn’t help but make these in your style. Please don’t be mad. I’ll smash them all when I get home so they don’t damage your reputation.”
He was willing to do anything for Sharon to win her forgiveness. But he had a feeling that, after five years, her temper seemed to have mellowed considerably.
Sharon turned to Wallace. “Wally, see? I told you. This is a fake.”
“You’re truly brilliant, with extraordinary talent. I didn’t expect you to be Master Skyler. I’m so proud of you,” Wallace said excitedly.
Feeling smug, he thought, ‘My sister is amazing. I should share this on social media–let everyone know she’s the famous Master Skyler. She’s so accomplished at such a young age. No ordinary man could ever be good enough for her, not even Nicholas.‘
He glared at Janelle and said sternly, “Well, the truth is out now. Your family really needs to get your eyes checked. Over the past five years, quite a fortune, working with this fraud, who pretended to be Master Skyler, haven’t you?
made
“And you had the nerve to call my sister a country bumpkin? My sister has been brilliant since she was a child–she just prefers to keep a low profile.”

Janelle was so angry that her foundation almost couldn’t hide her flushed face. She cursed in her heart, ‘How could I have known that this man is an
impostor?
‘It’s as unbelievable as discovering that Sharon is the renowned Master Skyler. Isn’t a master of such calibre supposed to be an older person? How could it be such a young woman? This doesn’t make any sense.
But one thing was certain: the Dolan family had been utterly humiliated today.
Ashley was so ashamed that she wished she could

Consumed by jealousy, Ashley lost all sense of reason and glared at Sharon. “You claim to be Master Skyler. Do you have any proof? This man turned out to be a fraud–how do we know you’re not working with him?”
Sharon clicked her tongue in disgust. “You are so ignorant–it’s
nd of adorable.”
Ashley’s face turned bright red. “You’re just trying to cover
your guilt.”
“I don’t need proof. I am Skyler.” Sharon’s voice was gentle, yet filled with the commanding arrogance of someone in charge. And even her entire demeanor felt different at that moment.
Wallace quietly snapped a photo of her and sent it to the family group chat with a message: [Our little sister is truly the most awesome, the cutest, and the smartest.]
Richard replied: [Tell me something I don’t know.]
Wallace: [How about this? Shari is Master Skyler! The Dolan family’s been working with a fake, and that guy was begging for mercy from Shari. You should’ve seen it–when Shari smashed the jewelry, she looked absolutely awesome.]
Marvin: [Livestream it right now.]
Julian: [Agree.]
Patrick: [If I leave now, can I still make it? I want to be there for Shari’s shining moment, but ugh, my agent won’t let me go. It’s so unfair!]
Aaron: [Already on my way. Send me the location.]
Jeffrey shared a screenshot of his phone wallpaper, which he had already changed to the photo of Sharon from just now.
All his brothers immediately texted: [Why didn’t I think of that? I’m changing my wallpaper too.]
And just like that, Sharon’s picture was set as the wallpaper on the eight men’s phones.
They were obsessed with their little sister and believed everything about her was perfect. Anyone who didn’t see it that way was clearly at fault.
Wendy’s face was filled with admiration for Sharon. She praised, “I knew it! Shari, you are truly special and amazing.”
Sharon flashed a sweet smile, instantly transforming into the sweet, cute, well–mannered, and thoughtful girl she always was.
Nicholas’s lips curved into a faint smile. “I doubt anyone will be impersonating Skyler now. The real deal can’t be faked, and fakes will eventually be exposed.”
His fiancée was impressive, and he had to stand firmly by her side.
Wallace coughed, stepping in to block Nicholas’s view, his face full of irritation. “Look away!”
Wallace was determined to keep Nicholas from looking at his sister. Sharon was brilliant, and it was only natural for Nicholas to be drawn to her, but

Wallace would never allow him to be with Sharon.

At that moment, Nolan, the troublemaker who never learned his lesson, came to stir up trouble again. Looking annoyed, he walked into the showroom with the appraiser from Crownstone Enterprises.
He was fuming, convinced that the appraiser was deliberately causing trouble for him. Just moments ago, the appraiser had called many of the Pierce family’s exhibits fake, delivering a harsh blow to their reputation. And Nolan blamed all this on Sharon.
Nolan stormed over and saw the middle–aged man acting all sycophantic before Sharon. He snorted and mocked, “Well, well, looks like the fake’s finally exposed. Took you long enough. The Dolan family really isn’t too bright.”
Janelle caught on to the hidden meaning in his words. She asked in shock, “You knew about this?”
“Of course,” Nolan replied. “I’m sure that among the four major families, only your family and the Vance family were kept in the dark about it. Oh, and just so you know, he didn’t think much of the Vance family, so he went straight to yours.”
Janelle was deeply humiliated.
Nolan slowly looked at Sharon and mocked, “I hear you’re Skyler? These days, anyone can pretend to be Master Skyler, huh?” He didn’t believe Sharon was the master.
Sharon remained expressionless and even felt a bit bored as she thought, ‘This idiot’s asking for trouble again.‘
