Chapter 38
Sharon froze in place, thinking, ‘No, I don’t have any hidden motives. Oh man, how am I supposed to explain this to them?
I didn’t even know the Atlantis Hotel was my own property until recently. I borrowed a friend’s VIP card to stay there. This is a tough one.
Richard frowned. “I’ve heard these cards are super rare—no more than three people have them. Why did they suddenly give each of us one?”
Wallace added, “And the person who delivered them was the hotel’s general manager. That guy’s basically the stand–in for the mysterious owner. Little is known about him, and he rarely interacts with any family.”
Julian chimed in, “Even the president mentioned the hotel during his recent inspection. They’re trying to figure out which force is behind it and have already sent people to investigate.”
Patrick said, “A friend of mine in showbiz mentioned that someone once hinted this hotel might be linked to a mysterious organization, but no one’s been able to find out anything more.”
Aaron said, “I hacked into the hotel’s security system once. Everything seemed normal with their transactions. But a few days ago, they suddenly stopped accepting guests and cleared out the entire top floor. They also cut off anything that could leak identities–networks, surveillance, and phone lines. I think the owner might have shown up.”
Marcus and Jeffrey, both tech geeks, rarely paid attention to these things.
Marvin, the ultimate playboy, spoke up. “Hey, do you guys remember that mysterious organization many people were obsessed with five years ago?”
Richard raised an eyebrow. “You mean the Queen’s Fan Club? That name’s so cringe it hurts.”
Sharon swallowed nervously, thinking, ‘Yeah, that name does sound a bit cringe. But it wasn’t my idea.‘
She had planned to confess just now, but her brothers had dug so deep into the situation that she lost her nerve. She decided to hold on to her secret for now. After all, she was determined to be the sweet, obedient, and thoughtful little sister.
The room fell silent for a moment.
Wallace looked at Sharon and said gently, “You must be tired after shopping. How about you go upstairs, take a bath, and get some rest?”
Sharon nodded, the very picture of a sweet and obedient little sister.
She had only taken a couple of steps when Marvin said from behind her, “Shari, take one of these cards. From now on, we’re not blacklisted anymore; we’re super VIPs. Go ahead, spend as much as you want. You can even book the whole floor if you like.”
“Take mine too,” said Aaron and Marcus, each handing Sharon their cards. Though they usually didn’t say much and even seemed distant when showing care, Sharon could still feel their concern.
“Hey, that’s not fair. I said it first–let Shari use mine!” Marvin protested.
But Aaron and Marcus had already shoved the cards into Sharon’s hands. “Others only get one, but you get two.”
“No, wait. Shari gets eight. Let those snobs see just how pampered she is,” Richard declared, handing all the cards over to Sharon, effectively making the decision for his brothers.
Sharon stared at the cards in her hands, nearly moved to tears. She had specially arranged these for her brothers, but now they were giving them to her.
She cleared her throat and then said, “Actually, I got one too. One card is enough. Having so many is just unnecessary.”
She handed the cards out to all eight of her brothers and smiled radiantly. “Now we can host our own parties at the Atlantis Hotel, too.”
Probably because the Atlantis Hotel is extremely upscale, a lot of people see hosting events there as a symbol of status.

Chapter 38
Sharon thought to herself, Whatever luxurious things others enjoy, my brothers deserve just as much. If they don’t, I’ll make sure they des
Sharon turned and headed upstairs to her bedroom. As she entered the room, Joan, who had been ignored all night, followed her frnside.
Joan looked at Sharon with a complicated expression as she thought, ‘Earlier, Mr. Aaron Vance said that the top floor of the Atlantis Hotel was cleared out to welcome the owner. Today, I saw it for myself- Ms. Vance went to the top floor, and the general manager was extremely deferential, terrified of upsetting her.’
“If you have any questions, just ask,” Sharon said, her sweet demeanor vanishing. Her expression turned indifferent, and she looked both cool and imposing, completely different from the girl next door she had seemed to be just now.
She sat down on the couch, propping her chin on one hand. “You did well earlier. You passed the test. From now on, you’re mine.”
‘I’m hers? The words sound both powerful and somewhat provocative, and with Ms. Vance’s androgynous outfit, she looks incredibly cool, Joan thought.
Her face flushed a little as she asked, “So, you’re very powerful, aren’t you, Ms. Vance?”
“Kind of. Not very amazing though,” Sharon replied, nonchalantly.
If those people from the underworld heard that, they’d probably be cursing up a storm in their wheelchairs.
“Then why didn’t you tell your brothers?” Joan asked. That was the one thing she couldn’t understand; she wondered whether it was because Sharon was wary of her eight brothers.
Sharon motioned for Joan to come closer. “Come here,” she said, “and I’ll tell you.”
Joan walked over and crouched down in front of Sharon. For some reason, her heart started racing.
The next second, Sharon pinched Joan’s chin. “Because I want to be a sweet, obedient little sister. That’s my dream. Got it?”
“Not really,” Joan muttered.
“Good. You’re not supposed to understand. All your need to do is obey and keep my secret.” Sharon released her grip and gave Joan a commanding look.
Then, she slowly stood up and began unbuttoning her shirt. Her eyes were calm yet cold. “If anyone dares to destroy my dream, I’ll kill them.”
Joan shivered involuntarily, goosebumps prickling her skin. She thought, ‘Other than Mr. Richard Vance, I’ve never heard anyone speak with so much bloodlust and intent to kill. It seems Ms. Vance’s identity is far more complicated than I thought.
‘I even considered testing her, to see if she’s worthy of my service. Now, I feel like I’ve been slapped in the face.
‘And to top it off, earlier today, I was left behind at the Atlantis Hotel because I wasn’t trusted. That felt harsh and hurtful. I really want to post on my social media to let them know Ms, Vance is a total badass! She’s absolutely incredible!‘
The next morning, Sharon got up and went downstairs for breakfast.
Her eight brothers were already in the dining room./Richard spoke up first. “Shari, we discussed it last night. Even though your twentieth birthday has passed, we want to throw you a coming–of–age party to let everyone know you’re our princess and announce your identity.”
Sharon nodded and replied, “Sure, sounds good.” She thought that as long as she was with her brothers, nothing else mattered.
Soon, Wallace personally went to the Atlantis Hotel to discuss the arrangements for the coming–of–age party.
The general manager greeted him with utmost respect. “Mr. Vance, I hear you’re planning a party. Could you let us know the specific theme so we can arrange the hall properly?”

“We want to host a coming–of–age celebration for our little sister, but we don’t want the Princess Hall. Can we use the Qiran’s Wat Insta conditions, Just let us know,” replied Wallace.
He and his brothers were determined to make their little sister’s coming–of–age party spectacular, unparalleled, and one of a kind
“Of course, no problem at all. I’ll have everything prepared right away and personally oversee the preparations. Is there anything else you’d like, stre
said the manager.
“You’re agreeing just like that? No conditions?” Wallace asked, confused.
The manager smiled with perfect poise. “You’re a super VIP of our hotel, so you’re eligible to use the Queen’s Hall.” The steward’s smile remained impeccable.
Meanwhile, he thought, ‘This is the big boss’s coming–of–age party! Who would dare refuse? It has to be luxurious and extravagant. Forget about just the Queen’s Hall–on that day, the entire hotel will be cleared out that day, all for our queen.‘
