The that any way to talk to Ms. Vance? Jean Shopped, her temper flaring as she immediately jumped to sharon’s deferike.
Sharön stayed calm. “And why is that?”
Why? the woman sheered. “Didn’t the Vance family tell you? Last time, you got in here using Mr. Duncan’s VIP card. We made an exceptien ter je and that was already being more than generous,”
Sharon glanced over. The woman talking looked vaguely familiar. It was the same staff member who had been sticking to Caesar like glue that day
The woman added, “You better move along and stop blocking our entrance. We’ve got an important guest arriving today.”
Ever since a few days ago, the hotel’s general manager had gotten word that the boss was finally coming for an inspection.
After five years missing, the owner of Atlantis Hotel was about to show up in person. The general–manager immediately ordered the staff to deep–clean the rooms and clear out the entire top floor, making sure no one else could get near.
The boss was known for being extremely private and didn’t like strangers around.
Sharon raised an eyebrow and thought, ‘Important guest? If I’m guessing right, they’re probably talking about me
As Sharon was wondering how to explain herself without giving away her identity, the general manager of the hotel rushed over, stopping in front of her with a respectful posture. “Apologies for keeping you waiting.”
The hotel staff were stunned. None of them had expected that the mysterious owner of Atlantis Hotel was actually Sharon. What those disrespectful staffers had done was like shooting themselves in the foot.
The general manager’s words left the hotel staff gaping. They all thought, ‘What the hell is going on? Wasn’t the Vance family blacklisted? Why is the general manager being so respectful to her?‘
After all, Atlantis Hotel was not just a hotel. Behind the scenes, it controlled a lot of power. The general manager himself only handled backstage affairs and usually kept a straight face even in front of the four major families.
Someone like the general manager was considered a big shot in Aerions. Yet now, seeing him treating a girl from the Vance family–who came from some backwater village–with such respect, the hotel staff seriously started questioning everything they thought they knew about the world.
Sharon gave a calm nod and stepped into the lobby of Atlantis Hotel. The entire place was eerily quiet and completely empty.
“Don’t worry. We’ve cleared the place and turned off all the surveillance cameras,” the general manager said.
Sharon suddenly stopped and turned to look at the female staff member who had blocked her earlier.
The woman froze on the spot, looking nervous, wishing she could vanish into thin air. She thought, ‘She only got in last time because she had Caesar’s VIP card. Why the hell is the general manager treating this little bitch like royalty?‘
Sensing the resentment in the woman’s eyes, Sharon’s expression grew colder. “The staff training here could really use some work.”
“Of course, Ms. Vance. We’ll handle it immediately,” the general manager said, shooting a glance at the people around him. Without giving them any chance to explain, he had the man and woman dragged away on the spot.
“Please follow me. The exclusive elevator is this way, Ms. Vance,” the general manager said..
Sharon stayed calm, but Joan was already starting to panic. “Ms. Vance, our bodyguards got blocked,” Joan said.
After what had happened last time at this hotel, they couldn’t afford to be careless.
The general manager quickly turned to Sharon, knowing he had to watch her reaction to decide what to do.

The peroral manager coughed awkwardly and hurried to explain, “That incident was our mistake. Some people took Bribes. But Iva talaga kot en then it won’t happen again.”
Seeing how worried Joan looked, Sharon smiled, “This hotel actually belongs to me, um, my friend I didn’t know before either. That’s vitry there wa tiny misunderstanding.”
Joan didn’t say anything this time. She thought, ‘Ms. Vance’s friend must be something else. I heard the bounty posted on the forum was put up by he
friend too
They headed straight up to the top floor. It had already been cleared out.
Right before stepping into the room, Sharon ordered, “Wait outside.”
Joan had originally wanted to follow her, but when she saw the sudden shift in Sharon–the sharpness in her eyes, the quiet force she carried she stopped asking questions.
She had a feeling Sharon might not be as simple as she seemed, and that she probably had another identity hidden beneath the surface.
Joan wondered, ‘No way an ordinary person just happens to be friends with the owner of Atlantis Hotel, right?‘
She wrestled with herself, unsure if she should tell Sharon’s brothers about any of this.
Sharon stepped into the room, took a turn, and headed into another suite.
There was a hidden room here. She pushed through the door and found two people sitting on the couch, completely locked into a video game with their headsets on, mumbling as they played.
“Top lane, top lane. Gank now. Somebody’s camping in the bushes,” one yelled.
“Coming. Chill, dude,” the other said.
Sharon cleared her throat. The two gamers, David McMahon and Jannie McMahon, immediately “Boss, you’re finally here. It’s been five years. We missed you so much.”
“Same here,” Sharon smiled.
up,
tossed their phones aside, and rushed over.
Their crew had four original founders. After catching up for a bit, Sharon asked in surprise, “Where’s Cameron?”
“Casino arcade ran into a little trouble. Someone’s trying to take it over, so he went to handle it,” David said.
Just as he finished, his phone rang. After answering, he turned to Sharon. “Boss, someone’s making trouble over at Vanguard Harbour. They challenged us to a gambling match.
“The loser has to hand over the turf. We laid low for five years, and now these vultures think they can take a bite.”
“Give me the address,” Sharon said, her expression darkening. She thought, ‘If they want to take what’s mine, they better be ready to pay the price.‘ The three of them slipped out through a secret exit, already changing into different outfits.
On the way over, they were practically buzzing with energy in the car, ready to crush anyone who got in their way.
Back then, Sharon had been a legendary gambler, undefeated with a perfect win record. Just because she had been gone for five years didn’t mean

anyone was allowed to lay a finger on her turf.
Sharon was dressed like a boy today, wearing a white dress shirt and black starks, with a wig covering her hair. A diamond stud gleamed in her gal though it was actually a cutting–edge micro tracker.
The car screeched to a hall. The three of them got out. Sharon walked ahead, the sweet, pretty girl image gone, replaced by a sharp, cool boyisha vikaw, with two followers trailing behind her.
She glanced over the place in front of them–Aerions‘ biggest entertainment complex. It had everything from laser tag and other casual games to fuft blown gambling halls meant strictly for adults.
The foot traffic here was insane, and the cash flow was even crazier. But where there was money, there were always conflicts. Everybody wanted a piece
of the action.
Someone whispered, “Look, that guy’s so hot.”
“Go get his number,” someone else said.
“You do it,” another chimed in.
Sharon heard them and looked over. The group of girls instantly blushed, too flustered to even get a word out.
Jannie muttered, “Boss, could you stop attracting girls everywhere you go?
“Did you forget that time a foreign princess fell in love with you at first sight, threw a fit to marry you, and nearly burned down our whole base when she found out you were actually a girl?”
Sharon coughed lightly and turned her gaze back. She thought, ‘Focus. There’s real business to handle.‘
The three of them swiped their cards and took the private entrance straight to the VIP area.
They had just reached the elevator when a familiar voice called out, tinged with surprise, “Shari?”
Sharon sucked in a sharp breath. She thought, ‘No way. Seriously?‘ Turning around, she locked eyes with her oldest brother–Richard.
Sharon pondered, ‘I’m doomed. My cover’s about to blow.‘
