Chapter 81
Juno’s POV
Another climax built inside me. My vision blurred and my mind went blank, capable only of feeling the exquisite sensations he was giving me. His steady pounding continued, pushing me higher and higher until I broke apart completely, my inner muscles clenching around him as a fresh wave of wetness made his thrusts even more slick.
He continued his relentless pace until I felt his cock grow even harder inside me, pulsing as he released his seed deep within my body. My womb greedily accepted every drop, and at this tate, I could very well end up pregnant soon.
When he finally pulled out, was utterly spent. I barely fegistered in cleaning us both before he lifted me into his arms.
Augustin was carrying me naked through the halls back to our bedroom. I didn’t know if anyone was in the corridor, and I was too satiated from multiple orgasms to care. Half–awake and completely exhausted, I nestled against his chest as he carried me.
He laid me gently on our bed, and I drifted back to sleep almost immediately.
When woke again, the room was dimly lit. I glanced at the clock- been asleep for about two hours. Augustin sat at the desk, working on his laptop. From my angle, I could see lines of code on the screen.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
He looked up, smiling when he saw I was awake. Monitoring some anonymous transactions to Fireland. You should rest more,
Berry. You’ve been working too hard preparing for my mother and Evanth’s arrival.”
I frowned slightly but didn’t push. I knew he’d explain more when he was ready. He closed the laptop and came to sit beside me on
the bed.
“Speaking of Eliza,” I said, the thought occurring to me, “you should let her work for you again.”
His eyebrows rose in surprise. “You wouldn’t mind having another woman on the team?”
I shook my head. “No. I trust you, and I know she’s good at what she does.”
He chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from my face. “What happened to my jealous Berry? Where did she go?”
“I was only jealous because I misunderstood,” I explained. “Now I know your heart is mine alone.”
“That it is,” he agreed. “I’ll consider your suggestion. Now, are you hungry? We should get some dinner before it gets, too late.”
After a quick shower, we headed to the dining room. I wondered how things would work once Luna Amelia arrived. No more making out on the dining table, that was for certain. We’d all need to be more proper–a thought that made me feel a little sad.
Bryloch, Adryx, Scarlett, and Freya were already seated when we arrived. We all ate in silence for a while, each of us aware that this was our last opportunity to enjoy a private meal as just our close–knit group.
“I think Scarlett and I will be taking our meals in our room once your mother and Evanth move in,” Bryloch fir said, breaking the silence. “I can’t stand to be in the same room as your brother.”
“Same here,” Adryx agreed.
“I don’t blame you,” Augustin said with a wry smile. “I don’t want to eat with him either, but I don’t have a choice. And I suspect Elowen will find a way to join us too.”

Chapter 81
“Are we still attending Sebastian’s event at his estate?” Scarlett asked
“Unfortunately, yes,” Augustin feplied. “I promised him we would make an appearance, and I need to keep my word.”
“We Could just show up for an hour and then leave,” I suggested, “Make a brief appearance to satisfy the obligation, but not stay Yong enough for anything to become uncomfortable.”
“That’s a good plan,” Augustin agreed.
I noticed something pass between him, Bryloch, and Adryx–a look at suggested they knew something I didn’t. I made a mental note to ask Augustin about it once we were alone.
“You smell like Augustin,” Scarlett suddenly noted, looking at me with curiosity. “More than usual, I mean.”
I felt my cheeks flush as Augustin replied, “I’ve been deliberately claiming her more heavily. It makes her appear mated to other
wolves.”
