Chapter 18 Nicholas Has A Fiancée?
Sharon pushed the door open and walked in, slamming it shut and leaving Caesar locked outside.
Always being the attention of girls, Caesar once again got the cold shoulder. He rubbed his nose in defeat and complained inwardly, ‘Well, Nicholas’s fiancée got the same damn arrogance as him.”
But he wasn’t mad. Instead, he thought excitedly, ‘If I can get this girl to join the academy, I must recruit her into my sailing club. Imagine her challenging Nick head–on. That will be one hell of a show.”
He thought for the sake of that scene, being shut out a few more times was no big deal. He needed to come up with a way to help Sharon handle the situation first.
Inside the room, Sharon looked at Martin and asked, “Are you guys okay?”
Martin replied, “We’re fine. Shari, what happened out there? You stayed behind alone. I was worried sick, you know? Did the guys leave?”
“Yeah.” Sharon nodded and casually explained, “That man helped me out. He knows Nicholas.”
She made up an excuse without blinking.
“But didn’t he say he’s Nicholas’s mortal enemy?” Martin asked, confused.
“Yeah, he said he’ll let Nicholas know this and owe him a favor.” Sharon’s face
remained perfectly calm as she lied.
Martin didn’t doubt her at all. He nodded and said, “Well, in that case, we really should thank Nicholas properly.”
“Will they come back again?” Alyssa asked with a worried face.
Sharon’s brows knitted slightly upon hearing that. She knew there was a good chance. that they would come back and cause trouble. She asked Martin, “Can you get in touch with my brothers?”
Sharon knew the thing with the Dolan family wouldn’t be easy to deal with. If her brothers didn’t come back soon, staying here wasn’t safe anymore. She didn’t mind it at all, but she couldn’t drag her family into it.
Martin replied, “They gave me a number, but it’s been unreachable. It’s all my fault. I shouldn’t have decided on my own to bring you early to Aerions. If the Dolan family keeps pushing, let me pay the det. Successfully unlocked!
Martin was full of regret. He thought his stupidity caused Sharon trouble.

Alyssa panicked, and she snapped, “You can’t get hurt. You’re the pillar of the family. If you lose a leg, how will the children survive?”
Gloria and Milo also cried on the side.
Sharon rubbed her temples and said, “I’ll take care of this. I won’t let it affect you. Until my brothers come back, we’ll have to ask Nicholas for help. Don’t go out unless absolutely necessary.”
Hearing that, Martin suddenly brightened up. He thought, ‘Right, I almost forgot Ms. Vance has a fiancé. With the Baxter family backing her, who would dare touch her?”
After calming her family, Sharon faced a new problem: She didn’t have Nicholas’s number.
She went back to her room, pulled out her phone, and clicked on the black market app. A message from Zanker was waiting: [That card belongs to someone else. Did you run into him?]
Sharon replied: [Yeah, I did.]
Zanker: [Oh, sorry. Did he give you a hard time?]
Sharon: [No, but I need your help now.]
Sharon thought that
Caesar knew Nicholas, he must have a way to contact him.
And since Zanker and Caesar knew each other, he should have a method to reach
Caesar.
Zanker: [Sure, I’ll definitely finish it for you.]
Sharon: [I want Caesar’s number. Do you have it?]
On the other side of the screen, Justin felt his heart shatter into pieces. He howled to his roommates, “Dudes, you guys jinxed it. My idol is really interested in Caesar.”
“No suspense at all,” someone said.
Another guy teased, “We told you, you’ll end up with nothing but heartbreak. You’re even at the academy, and you still didn’t meet her face–to–face. See? Online romance is a joke.”
Justin mourned for a few seconds and reluctantly typed back: [Why do you need his number?]
Sharon: [For something personal.]
Seeing those words, Justin felt his heart break into pieces. He asked, “What should I do, guys? How should I reply?”
“Why don’t you ask her out, dude? Meet her face–to–face and tell her your feelings. Your need to rip off the band–aid and move on.”

Justin typed back: [Can we talk in person?]
Sharon replied: [No, I’m in a bit of a rush right now.]
She had to contact Nicholas as soon as possible to ensure her family’s safety.
With a heavy heart, Justin sent over a phone number. He comforted himself inwardly,‘ Forget it. It’s inevitable anyway. It’s not like I didn’t see it coming.‘
Sharon: [Thanks, I’ll treat you to a meal sometime.]
The moment Justin saw that message, he felt his soul resurrect. He shouted, ‘Guys, she asked me out for a meal.’
His roommates immediately poured cold water on him. “You really believe that? Wait until she and Caesar start dating. Will she even remember you exist?”
Someone else said, “By the way, Caesar just posted a huge thread in the school forum. He said Nicholas has a fiancée. Bet every girl in the academy is heartbroken.” Justin clutched his chest and sighed, ‘I’m heartbroken too. Damn, it hurts so bad.”‘
Sharon directly dialed the number. It rang a few times before connecting. “Hello? Caesar speaking?”
“Hey, it’s me, the one from Room 808,” Sharon said calmly.
“Oh, beautiful lady. Can I help you?” he asked.
‘Calling me at this late hour? Don’t tell me she’s fallen for me,’ Caesar thought.
Sharon asked, “Do you have Nicholas’s number?”
The other end went dead silent as soon as she finished her words.
Caesar took a deep breath and retorted, “Hey, are you fooling me around? There’s no way in hell I’d have that bastard’s number. We’re mortal enemies, remember?‘
“Well, thanks, anyway,” Sharon said coolly, her tone completely indifferent.
“Wait, aren’t you his fiancée? You don’t even have his number? Don’t make me laugh, okay?”
“I really don’t. That’s why I’m asking you. Thanks, and bye.”
“Wait, I can ask someone and get it for you. But before that, how about we have a coffee together?”
Sharon agreed without hesitation.
She stepped out of the room and noticed the hotel staff had already replaced the door lock–fast and efficient.
Facing Martin, she said, “I’m going out to contact Nicholas. Don’t leave the room, okay?

Call me if anything happens.”
Martin tried to say a few more words but ultimately just nodded. He was clear that the
best thing he could do now was not cause her any more trouble.
Sharon smoothly made her way downstairs to the hotel lobby.
“Here.” Caesar waved from a table by the window.
He had been waiting for a good while. The waitress standing next to him seemed reluctant to leave and shot Sharon a glare. She even snorted inwardly, ‘Tch, she just looks a little pure. What else does she have?”
Sharon didn’t even glance at her and walked straight over. She came to the point. “The number, please”
“Take it easy. We’ll get it soon. Have a seat by the window and chill for a bit, alright?” he suggested.
Sharon didn’t argue and sat down.
Caesar took out his phone and checked the forum. Just now, he had posted a thread: [ Nicholas, your fiancée asked me for your phone number.]
The post immediately blew up. In no time, it turned into rumors of a love triangle between Caesar, Nicholas, and a mysterious girl.
Naturally, this explosive gossip reached people in the student council soon and was forwarded straight to Nicholas..
Brent Dolan, gleefully nosy, teased, “Boss, your secret’s finally out. Today’s basically girls’s heartbreak day. I feel sorry for the girls.”
Someone else asked, “Nick, do you really have a fiancée? This is a PR crisis.”
Nicholas lowered his gaze to skim Caesar’s two posts. At first, he didn’t intend to reply. He thought it was just Caesar’s usual nonsense trying to smear his name.
But suddenly, he spotted Caesar’s reply to a comment: She’s at Atlantis Hotel.]
Nicholas’s expression turned serious. He immediately stood up and said, “I have. something to deal with.”
“Hey, boss, all departments are gathered here. They’re waiting for you to start the meeting,” someone shouted behind Nicholas.
“Hey, Nick, where are you going?” asked someone.
“Find my fiancée.” Nicholas dropped the words casually and strode off.
The rest of the council members stared at each other, stunned. Someone asked in surprise, “He really has a fiancée?”
