Julia’s POV
“Ugh! Beta Sean exclaimed, blocking his nose as a disgusting smell filled the room. He watched in horror and shock as something slid out of the doll. It was a human–like figure, and it was covered in dark red blood.
His eyes widened in horror as he realized what it was… a real fetus! His eyes widened even further as his nose flared when a familiar scent filled the room.
Sean ran all the way to the archive room, where Darren was going through some files. He burst into the room, looking deathly pale.
“Alpha Darren, Alpha! Luna Julia—”
Darren snarled and cut him off.
“Whatever happened to her is not my fucking business! I don’t want to hear anything about her, even if she’s dead!” He bellowed furiously.
Sean shook his head. “You don’t understand! The doll from yesterday had a real fetus inside!” Sean exclaimed with wide eyes.
Darren blinked in confusion. “What?”
Sean nodded frantically, “A real fetus was found inside, and the scent is so familiar, almost like….. Sean paused.
“Alpha Darren, when was the last time you spoke to Luna Julia?” Sean asked breathing heavily.
Darren knew what Sean was pointing too. He shook his head frantically in disbelief and confusion.
“No… no… she must be playing a prank.” Darren replied looking dumbfounded
“Are you sure the fake fetus was really sent by Julia?” Sean asked with a grim expression on his face
Darren ran a hand through his hair with wide eyes as he tried to process what was going on. Yesterday, he had concluded that I was a crazy bitch, playing a prank. If he had just paused and thought about it, he would have realized that I could never do a thing like that.
At that moment, a member of the task force hurried in, breathing heavily.
“Alpha Darren, someone is here to see you,” He had an urgent expression on his face, “She said that she was worried because she hasn’t seen Luna Julia for over a week! And she kept insisting that Luna Julia was pregnant!”
I saw when realization hit him. His eyes were wide as he jumped up from his seat, like it had burned him.
“What? Who is it?” He questioned.
It was Grace, she was the head of the pack’s orphanage. I had been helping out there, at least four times a week.
“I thought the Luna was taking a break because of the pregnancy stress, but I hadn’t been able to reach her on the phone and-”

Darren interrupted her, with an icy voice. “You’re telling me that Julia is… pregnant?” His eyes were dark, and his face was hard. Darren was angry, but he was controlling himself from exploding.
Grace blinked in confusion. “Yes, she is… you didn’t know? She is almost four months pregnant!”
He took a deep breath, clenching his fist tightly. “It’s alright, Grace. You can go.”
“But Luna Jul-” Grace started.
“Leave!” He barked at her.
Grace flinched and hurried out in fear, leaving only Darren and Sean.
“That. Fucking. Bitch” Darren growled as he shook with rage.
Sean furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
“Alpha, did you hear Grace? She said Luna Julia was pregnant. Do you think-

Darren exploded with rage. “That fucking bitch? Pregnant? Oh please! She doesn’t deserve it! She does not deserve to carry my child, not after she fucking killed my mom!”
He really hated me so much that he didn’t care that there was a possibility that I was actually dead, that I was the disfigured woman on that table.
If only he knew that I was innocent of his hate, that I didn’t deserve his hate, because I never killed his mother.
