Chapter 52
Zvonimir was sitting on the so, his legs resting on the table. When he saw Farah enter, he coldly asked, “Do you remember what I said to you yesterday?”
“What?” Farah’s earlier happiness vanished in an instant as Zvonimirs icy expression filled her with fear and anxiety.
“If you don’t remember, let me remind you.” Zvonimir no longer had the gentleness of the past; his eyes even carried a hint of
menace.
Farah bit her lip, her face showing a pitiful and vulnerable expression. “Zvonimir…”
“Farah, I’ve told you before that I like an obedient and submissive female wolf.” Zvonimir smiled, but his gaze remained indifferent. “Next time you’re curious about something, ask me directly–don’t put Secretary Lisa in an awkward position.”
Farah shook her head frantically. “I… I didn’t mean to, I didn’t make Secretary Lisa uncomfortable… Zvonimir, I was just worried about you overworking yourself.”
She sat down on the sofa, trying to lean closer to Zvonimir.
Suddenly, Zvonimir stood up and walked toward the window, saying, I’ve already given you two chances to correct your mistakes. Farah, don’t provoke me further, or you’ll be the next female wolf to leave Silverfang.”
Farah trembled, her face instantly turning pale as she stared at Zvonimir in disbelief.
Zvonimir smirked slightly and said gently, “Alright, go rest early.”
Farah returned to her room. She sat in silence for a moment before regaining her composure. Suddenly, she went to the desk and swept everything onto the floor.
Her usually sweet and innocent face twisted into something malicious and venomous. Her eyes filled with resentment as she muttered, “Zvonimir must be keeping another female wolf outside!”
Otherwise, why would he treat her like that just now? Moreover, Zvonimir’s cold demeanor was exactly the same as when he used to warn Rishima!
Farah knew very well why Zvonimir favored her, but she absolutely wouldn’t let herself become another Rishima.
She had to find out who this female wolf was that Zvonimir was secretly keeping. She wanted to know which bitch dared to compete with her for the position of Luna!
Because of Zvonimir’s warning, Farah remained on her best behavior for the next few days. Meanwhile, Rishima seemed to have given in as well, no longer arguing with Zvonimir.
However, Zvonimir was far from satisfied. At night, when he held Rishima in his arms, he couldn’t control his desires, as if he were a seventeen or eighteen–year–old boy entering a rutting phase.
Rishima always claimed she wasn’t feeling well and wouldn’t let him touch her. At most, she would use her hands to satisfy him.
Zvonimir gritted his teeth in anger. He kept thinking that once the wound on his shoulder healed, he would tie Rishima up, make her kneel before him, force her to arch her back, and take her fiercely, By then, she would have no choice but to submit to him.
Ryan and Michael, seeing his frustration, gleefully invited him to a top–tier bar in the Empire to have fun.
After reading Ryan and Michael’s message, Zvonimir glanced at Rishima, who was sitting on the sofa reading a book. She looked

cold and noble, her pale skin almost glowing, her high nose, and her full lips, which seemed as if they were painted with a thin layer of lipstick–everything about er made him want to take her right there and then.
Feeling smug, Zvonimir replied o Michael, “Got it. I’ll be there soon.
He wanted to take Rishima out to show her off, to let everyone know that even though they had severed their mate bond, Rishima was still his female wolf. No other male wolf had the right to covet her.
“Michael and Ryan are hosting a party. Get ready and dress up; you’re coming with me,” Zvonimir said while playing with Rishima’s fingers, his tone carrying an unintentional tenderness.
“I’m not going. I’m not interested,” Rishima replied without tooking up, continuing to read her book.
In the past, she had always wanted Zvonimir to take her to meet his friends. But now, things were different. She didn’t like going to places where a group of wolves gathered to drink and flirt, and those places were too noisy, which irritated her.
More importantly, she was no longer Zvonimir’s mate. What identity did he plan to use to introduce her to his friends?
Zvonimir’s face darkened when Rishima refused. He grabbed her chin roughly and said, “What do you think you’re doing? Whether you want to or not, you’re coming with me! Don’t make me angry!”
Rishima winced in pain, her brows furrowing deeply. Seeing the violence and coldness in his eyes, she finally understood something: She was now his mistress, not his mate. She had no right to refuse any of his demands.
