Chapter 21
“Let me remind you, Felix,” Jade hissed, taking a step closer, “of the things you did to me while I was still stupidly in love with you.”
Felix opened his mouth, but no words came out.
“Do you remember how you couldn’t give me money for my mother’s treatment? But you had the money to buy rubies for Bella’s birthday?”
Felix swallowed hard, he opened his mouth to say something.
“Shut up, I’m talking now,” Jade cut him off.
“Do you remember punching me because of Bella? Do you remember that you were planning a mating ceremony with Bella behind my back?”
“Felix, you promised me the world after I helped you during your depression phase, but you mocked me behind my back, called me pathetic.”
Felix’s face paled, but she wasn’t finished.
“I worked my ass off to make sure you were comfortable and happy, but you were always complaining about something, and you never appreciated it. You made me feel worthless.”
“And now you think just because things are falling apart, I’ll magically come back to save you?”
Felix’s heart shattered at her words. He really did so many horrible things to her. Guilt flooded his chest.
His throat was dry as he tried to say something. “I–Jade, I was-”
“Don’t,” she snapped, her voice shook. “Don’t you dare.”
Jade didn’t realize that tears were running down her face until Rowan wiped them with a soft expression on his face.
“Jade, calm down. You shouldn’t be this stressed.” He said gently.
“I’m fine,” Jade replied with a small smile, “It’s just the pregnancy hormones.”
“Pregnancy Hormones?” Felix whispered in horror. He looked up slowly, with wide eyes. “You’re… pregnant?”
Jade met his eyes calmly, “Yes.”
Felix recoiled like he had been slapped. He opened his mouth, but no sound
came out.
Rowan pulled Jade protectively to his side.

“We’re done here, Felix. And if I ever catch you anywhere near her again, I won’t be so polite next time.”
Felix lowered his head, as tears ran down his cheeks silently.
Jade walked away with Rowan by her side, looking strong and very happy.
She didn’t look back.
Felix stumbled into his room, with depression pressing down on him. His body was heavy, and his chest burned.
Jade’s words kept echoing over and over in his head.
He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to shut them all out. But it didn’t work.
When he opened his eyes, he froze.
Bella was lying on his bed with her legs crossed. She was wearing a silk red robe but it wasn’t covering her naked body. She smirked lazily at him.
And beside her was Ethan, his Beta, his best friend. He was shirtless, and he also smirking at him
Felix blinked, hoping it was a hallucination, maybe he was losing his mind. But
it wasn’t a hallucination.
Neither of them looked guilty.
Ethan stretched like he had no care in the world. “You look like shit,” he said casually.
Bella chuckled, running her hand over Ethan’s chest. “Poor baby, are you still crying over the pathetic omega you threw away?”
Felix just stood there, breathing heavily, as the blood in his veins boiled.
“You’ve lost it, Felix,” Ethan said, rising from the bed. “Everyone sees it. The pack is crumbling. It is time for a new Alpha. Someone less psycho, and more
stable.”
Felix sneered at them. “Are you challenging me for the title, Ethan?”
“Yes,” Ethan said with a shrug looking so calm as if they were talking about the weather.
Bella didn’t even bother to hide her disgust. “Just hand it over, Felix. Don’t embarrass yourself. You’re going to lose, and you know it. You’re not fit to lead anymore. You’re pathetic.”
“Jade was the only person keeping you sane, and you stupidly threw her away.”

She cackled like a villain.
Felix stared at her for a minute. Several emotions raced through him, all the pain, the betrayal, the guilt, the humiliation, that he felt.
They were so overwhelming, and something inside him snapped
It was all Bella’s fault. Every damn thing.
The next second was a blur.
With a roar, Felix lunged at Bella, shifting mid–air.
She didn’t even have time to scream before his claws tore through her chest,
and ripped her heart out swiftly and smoothly.
He shifted back and stared at the heart in his hands. It was still pumping.
He smiled.
Then he started laughing.
At first it was quiet, but it kept growing, louder and louder, until he was laughing like a man who had completely lost it.
There was nothing sane in his eyes anymore.
He laughed like something had broken in him, and it had.
When Ethan finally got over the shock of what had happened, he pounced on him with a snarl, but Felix didn’t move.
He didn’t fight. He let Ethan slam him to the ground, and beat him to a pulp.
Felix didn’t care. His world had already ended the moment Jade didn’t look back.
Ethan snarled, and landed a powerful blow on Felix.
Everything went black.
