Zelda angrily threw her phone onto the glass table, then glared at the female wolf hunched over her notebook, editing the design with growing frustration.
“What happened?” Rishima asked Zelda.
“Rishima, do you know what wolves are saying online about your severed mate bond with Zvonimir right now?” Zelda spat through clenched teeth, her face twisted with irritation.
Without waiting for Rishima to answer, Zelda raged on, “They dare say you’re not worthy of Zvonimir, they say you’re untalented, uneducated. They even say you’re just a small–time designer who doesn’t deserve him. Damn it, what do they know about you to talk like that?!”
“It was Zvonimir’s own cousin who stole your work and blocked every opportunity for you to advance, which is why you still have no recognition in the design world. If it weren’t for those dirty tricks, you’d already be the head designer of the jewelry department at Ashcroft Group!”
“And another thing, it was the senior executives at Ashcroft Group who tricked you into signing that contract, forcing you to hand over your designs while banning you from entering design competitions because they feared that if you became famous, they wouldn’t be able to control you anymore.”
“If it weren’t for the Silverfang pack, if it weren’t for Zvonimir, you wouldn’t be in this…”
Zelda suddenly fell silent, swallowing the words “poor and desperate before she furiously continued, “In any case, the whole Silverfang pack is nothing but trouble!”

Then, she turned to Zelda with a smile, “And from another perspective, I’ve left the Silverfang pack and resigned from their company. So from now on, my work won’t be under their control anymore.”
Zelda slapped her thigh in excitement, “You’re right! Hurry, write your resignation letter. I can’t wait to see how Zvonimir’s cousin tries to oppress you now!”
Then Rishima could enter her work into international competitions, and with her skills, she was sure to become famous. Let’s see if any wolf dares to look down on her after that.
Originally, Zelda had planned to go to Rishima’s house for dinner with her, but in the end, instead of having a meal, she was so furious at that shameless couple, Zvonimir and Farah, that her anger alone filled her up.
Zelda was even more agitated than Rishima, the wolf directly involved, and kept urging her to write a resignation letter: “You should write your resignation letter now! Stop working for Ashcroft Group, and don’t put up with the Silverfang pack anymore!”

Rishima paid no attention to Zelda’s outburst. She headed into the kitchen, donned an apron, and skillfully began chopping ingredients, each slice precise as she prepared the mac and cheese and ribs just as Zelda had requested.

But in truth, Rishima didn’t like cooking at all.

“Rishima, what happened to you? Thinking about that jerk Zvonimir again?” Zelda leaned in, waving her hand in front of her face.

“Good! If he ever feels that Farah isn’t good enough for him anymore and comes back to you wanting to rekindle mate bond with you, don’t you dare soften and agree.”
Rishima’s hand paused slightly, then she said calmly, “He won’t.”
After a moment, she added, “Zvonimir won’t come back to rekindle mate bond with me. He even forced me to attend his mate- bonding ceremony party with Farah…”
“What?” Zelda exploded the moment she heard it. “He has the nerve to do something so disgusting? That bastard! If I could take him down, I’d chop him into a hundred pieces for you!”
Rishima pressed her lips together, remaining silent as she finished chopping the taro and placed it on the plate.
Zelda kept muttering, “No way, Zvonimir definitely wants to humiliate you, make you lose face. I need to find you a better wolf than him right away!”
Her eyes suddenly lit up, as if she’d just remembered something. She quickly grabbed her phone, swiped a few times, then shoved it

“Let me introduce you to an incredible wolf–strong build, good nature, and far more impressive than Zvonimir! Zelda boasted with pride.
