Chapter 243
Henry, did your sense of ethics suddenly disappear when you stole my wife? Where was your moral compass then? Henry’s voice sliced through the night
air, sharp and cold.
If Sophia hadn’t been sitting in Alexander’s car, Henry might have driven straight into it.
Seeing Sophia with Alexander was unbearable for Henry. Even though they weren’t touching, the mere sight of them together made his blood boil.
That woman–his wife–was all smiles around Alexander, but when facing him, she showed nothing but contempt.
By what right? Legally, Sophia was still his wife. How dare she smile at another man like that!
Sophia could clearly hear Henry’s voice through the car window. She genuinely didn’t want to deal with him right now. Not wanting to put Alexander in an awkward position, she took a deep breath, suppressing her anger, and finally spoke:
“Henry, did you come all the way here to deliver divorce papers?” Her voice was tight with controlled fury. “If that’s the case, you’re more than welcome. If not, please move your car.”
Henry had positioned his car directly in front of Alexander’s, completely blocking their path. The distance between the two vehicles was less than three feet -not enough space for Alexander to maneuver out.
When Henry first spotted Sophia with Alexander, jealousy immediately consumed him. Watching her climb into Alexander’s car without even noticing his presence had pushed his already simmering anger to the boiling point.
Now he glared at Sophia through the windshield, his eyes widening with rage.
Their standoff was creating a traffic jam in the parking lot. Car horns blared from every direction, the cacophony growing louder by the minute, piercing everyone’s ears.
Sophia glared at the man responsible for this chaos, wishing she could drag him out of his car and give him the beating he deserved.
‘You’re blocking everyone’s way!” she shouted. “For God’s sake, have some consideration for others!”
Because Henry had blocked the exit, vehicles were piling up, creating a significant backup. Hearing Sophia berate Henry, other drivers rolled down their windows to join in the criticism.
“Think you’re special because you drive a fancy car? Even if you were driving an aircraft carrier, you can’t block the road!”
“Move it now, or I’ll ram into you, and you might not survive that!”
“What the hell, man? Will you die if you don’t block everyone’s way? This is so annoying! Some of us have urgent matters to attend to. Who’s going to compensate for my wasted time?”
One driver even got out of his car, approached Henry’s Rolls–Royce, and raised his fist threateningly.
“You son of a bitch! See this fist? If you don’t move your car right now, don’t blame me if I punch you!”
Some more level–headed drivers had already called the police.
As the situation escalated, angry drivers surrounded Henry’s car, ready for a confrontation. Just then, Henry calmly said, “My wife is in that car a me. Until she comes over, I’m not moving.”

The atmosphere instantly shifted. Those who had been preparing to punch him now looked at him with profound sympathy, their anger transforming into understanding for a man betrayed by his wife.
The criticism aimed at Henry ceased abruptly. All eyes turned toward Sophia, still sitting in Alexander’s car.
“Lady, it’s not cool to cheat on your husband right in front of him,” one man called out.
