I’m pacing my room now running my hands through my hale mulling over the test messages I am passing between myself and little woll. I took her Prat kiss from her and she doesn’t care. I hear a faint whimper and fast breathing. I know I told Ayla her side was locked, but I didn t bell her I have a master key. I quickly run over to my dresser, grabbing the key and gain entry to Aylas bedroom.
Confusion sets in when I see an empty bed, with the bed covers on the ground. I hear another whimper when I kneel to look under the bed, seeing little wil in the throes of a nightmare. She’s whimpering and kicking her feet against the underneath side of the bed, Kicking quickly turns to thrashing.
“Little wolf, little wall, ssshhh shh it’s me. It’s Thane. Wake up Ayla, You’re safe, I need you in wake up. grip. She’s no longer kicking but still whimpering.

“Little wolf wake up. It’s just a nightmare. You’re safe.” She slowly starts to blink her eyes open, breathing hard as she opens those beautiful teal eyes. Slight confusion takes over her face as she looks at me and then around to the underside of the bed. I can barely get half of my upper body under here, and tog we’re pretzeled together.
“It’s okay little wolf. Just a nightmare. He can’t get you anymore.” I reiterate to her, and I watch her breathing start to slow. She grabs my wrist to the hand holding on to ber shoulder and closes her eyes, taking in a large breath and letting it out slowly. She opens her eyes and for a while, we just lay there, staring into each other’s eyes, waiting to see who is going to speak first.
