Chapter 168
Cameron: [Shari, Nicholas is seriously going viral right now. The story of him trying to donate blood to you because you’re on your period who ty thinks of that?]
Sharon’s mouth twitched as she opened the campus forum. She’d been too groggy that day to catch what happened outside.
[So jealous! Someone get me a blood donor STAT.]
(Just another day dreaming of Nicholas donating blood to me.]
[The full tea on innocent Nicholas‘ blood donation is below.]
Suddenly, Nicholas‘ blood donation story was everywhere on the campus forum.
Sharon felt her face flush–this was mortifying. She tapped her long fingers, typing a string of code, tempted to hack the forum and wipe it clean. But she eventually stopped. This wasn’t the kind of mess you could fix with a forum hack.

Covering her face, Sharon couldn’t believe she’d trended for her period. After a moment to compose herself, she unlocked her phone and closed the forum. ‘Out of sight, out of mind,‘ she thought.
Cameron: [Shari, we’ve already leaked the info on purpose. Niko should know you’re mixed in with the freshmen.]
Sharon: [What do you mean “mixed in with the freshmen“?]
Riley: [Freudian slip! Shari, take it easy during your period. Maybe lie low so you don’t get caught
Jannie: [Shari, hold it in! Don’t blow your cover now. We can’t bail you out if you do.]
Sharon: [It feels like you guys are just enjoying the chaos.]
off guard.]
Cameron left the group chat. Riley and Jannie did the same.
Sharon clicked her tongue, thinking, ‘What ruthless friends.‘
Lately, Cameron had been giving her grief over the one billion Hunter Coins she’d spent. Wait, no–only 100 million Hunter Coins. Plenty of Hunter Coins left. ‘Having a penny–pinching butler is so frustrating,‘ she thought./
Meanwhile, Nicholas returned to the House of Obsidian. After much thought, he headed to the library, deciding he needed to catch up on all his missed
classes.
“Nick, why aren’t you going back to the dorm?” Brent asked curious/
trailing after him. He wondered, ‘What’s Nick doing going to the library?‘
Nicholas looked uneasy. “What’s the matter?” He certainly couldn’t let others know his plan. He’d already embarrassed himself enough today.
“Actually, yeah. Margaret sent word–there’s news about Solar Flare.”
“Tell me where,” Nicholas said coldly. Finally, there was a lead.
“Ahem, you might not believe this, but she’s at the House of Ivory, mixed in with the freshmen.”
Freshmen? Nicholas frowned, wondering, ‘What on earth is she up to? She knew Oriston Academy was dangerous, yet she still came. Is s.. trouble?‘

“Nick, what should we do? Margaret will handle screening the girls, but for the boys, you’ll have to take the lead since you two have faced off before.”

“No need,” Nicholas said flatly. “She’s female.”
“How can you be so sure? No one knows if that person is male or female, maybe even transgender.”
Sharon thought, ‘You’re transgender–your whole family is!!
Nicholas recalled the day of the Race of Champions when he’d confronted Solar Flare. In the small grove, his hand had accidentally brushed against certain part of their body.
Even he wasn’t dense enough to miss that. Solar Flare was definitely a girl.
Thinking about the past mix–up, Nicholas slowly clenched his fist, his palm unexpectedly growing warm. And that girl’s voice sounded a lot like Sharon’s. ‘Could it really be a coincidence?‘ he thought.
