Chapter 152
Chapter 152
Elise was so excited that she almost clapped. Sharon was so cool–pretty, tough, approachable, and willing to let bygones be bygones while always helping their branch family.
Merrick’s gaze also turned complicated. At first, he hadn’t held out any hope at all, since Sharon was from Roxanne’s line and must have a bad nature. But he never expected Sharon to stand up for them multiple times.
He couldn’t help but hope that the Vance family’s branch would rise again.
Sharon was quite calm, though. Her domineering words just now had really intimidated many people.
Lydia sneered and said, “We all know you’re the head of the Vance family, but that doesn’t mean you can break rules at will. This isn’t the Vance family, and Oriston Academy isn’t run by the Vance family.”
Vivian also walked over and said, “Yeah. Alexander, what do you think about this?”
Alexander actually wanted to pretend he’d seen nothing, but he couldn’t slip away, so he had to force himself to say, “Although the academy has roles against fighting, Sharon is special–she’s different from you. We’ve talked about this before, haven’t we?”
Other students who fought in the House of Ivory would probably be directly punished or disqualified from the freshman camp.
But Sharon was different. She had an excellent bloodline and was a student specially taken care of by Dalton. In this, day and age, people with connections always had an advantage.
“What makes her so different?” Lydia said, annoyed. She hoped to take this opportunity to get rid of Sharon.
“Because she received an invitation at ten and has long been on the academy’s records. She’s just going through the motions this time,” Alexander said.
Lydia’s face turned green with anger.
Alexander continued, “However, students who violate the academy rules must be punished. Let your instructor handle this. Mr. Baxter, I’ll leave this to
you.”
Alexander happily shifted the responsibility to Nicholas so he wouldn’t offend anyone–after all, he couldn’t afford to offend anyone present.
Nicholas slowly walked over from a distance. At first, when he saw Sharon take action, he knew the Pierce family was deliberately provoking the Vance family’s branch to make Sharon act.
But those in the Pierce family definitely didn’t expect Sharon to have a special status at the academy.
At the coming–of–age ceremony last time, Dalton had personally called to beg Sharon to accept Oriston Academy’s invitation, which also showed that Dalton and Sharon had an unusual relationship. In this case, the Pierce family was extremely foolish to provoke Sharon.
Although Oriston Academy had school rules, the rules had to be enforced by people. No one could drive away the person Dalton wanted to keep, so even if Sharon had broken a huge rule, she could stay. Alexander hadn’t made this clear earlier.
Now, almost everyone was watching the situation, wanting to see how Nicholas would handle it. It wasn’t easy to choose between strictly enforcing school rules and protecting his fiancée.
Lydia said, “Nicholas, I hope you’ll be fair and just. Everyone saw Sharon hit someone just now.” Now Sharon definitely couldn’t deny it.
Nicholas looked expressionless, scanned the onlookers, and said in a bad tone, “Anyone watching this will have to run ten extra laps.”
“Nicholas, that’s unfair,” Lydia said.
“Twenty laps,” Nicholas added coldly. Lydia wanted to argue, but Vivian had already led her people to start running.

Chapter 152
After yesterday’s lesson, Vivian knew Nicholas meant what he said–if he commanded them to run, they had to do it.
Lydia hadn’t left yet. “This is clearly unfair. Besides, Sharon was the one who fought–what does it have to do with us?”
“Lydia, take your people to accept the punishment.” Elizabeth shot Lydia a warning glance. This wasn’t home or outside. No matter how unwilling Lydia was, she could only follow and start running.
Now, all the instructors gathered around. Margaret took the initiative to say, “Let’s send the injured to the infirmary first.”
Sharon could knock out Johnson with one punch, so dealing with these small fries was probably a piece of cake for her.
However, Sharon’s choice to fight back immediately was really surprising. After all, she looked so cute, small, and spoke in a gentle voice–no one would have expected her to hit people without hesitation.
Although Sharon hadn’t received formal training, she had the advantage of an S–level bloodline, so crushing those small fries was easy.
“Mr. Baxter, how would you solve this? According to your past rules, shouldn’t they be severely punished?” Caesar said, fanning the flames.
Elizabeth chimed in, “I also think Sharon should be punished, or how can we talk about rules with new students in the future? Hitting people is wrong in the first place.”
“This matter isn’t that simple. The Pierce family started the fight first,” Justin said, taking out his phone. “I have high–definition footage here–do you guys want to see it?”
“The Pierce family also bullied Merrick and others from the branch last night. If we’re really going to judge this, the Pierce family can’t get away with it,”
he added.
As a member of the news department, Justin was a pro at handling such matters.
Elizabeth’s expression turned unpleasant–she hadn’t expected Justin to have footage at this moment. She thought, ‘These paparazzi are really dedicated.‘
Sharon looked at Justin and smiled to thank her reliable friend.
She looked up at Nicholas and said, “Although the Pierce family started the fight first, I’m willing to accept punishment according to academy rules. Mr. Baxter, you don’t have to feel torn.”
Nicholas frowned. He hadn’t said anything yet, and she already assumed he wouldn’t stand up for her. In Sharon’s eyes, he was so unreliable.
