But Vivian didn’t take the bait. She completely ignored Lydia, pulling her hand back and saying, “If you don’t want to be friends, how about we team up instead?”
I’m not a shallow idiot like Lydia,‘ Vivian thought.
“Why would I want to team up with you?” Sharon asked.
“Because my people are really strong. If you join us, we’ll definitely take first place,” Vivian replied. Her tone was assertive and confident.
Sharon’s opinion of this girl improved quite a bit. After seeing too many fake bitches like Roxanne in the Vance family, she suddenly found this arrogant girl much more appealing. She slowly stood up. “I don’t like working with others.”
Everyone in the Queen’s Fan Club knew Sharon preferred to work alone. She didn’t have a cooperative bone in her body.
Sharon walked out of the auditorium without looking back. She felt many eyes on her, but she didn’t care.
A voice reached her ears, “Shari, it’s mealtime. The cafeteria menu is pretty good today. They have my favorite braised ribs. Do you need me to reserve a meal for you?”
“No need,” Sharon replied.
Sharon looked up and saw a familiar face–Nicholas. A slight smile tugged at her lips. She had been wondering when she might run into him here, and now the man had appeared.
Nicholas stood there in his black uniform with gold trim, radiating an air of cool detachment. His chiseled features and deep eyes watched her quietly.
Standing perfectly still, Nicholas looked like something from a painting. Sharon had to admit that a handsome guy like him was always a pleasant sight, no matter where he stood.
Sharon had been feeling a bit irritated. After getting used to having her brothers around all the time, suddenly being alone felt strange. It was amazing how quickly habits form.
Seeing Nicholas improved her mood a little, They locked eyes for a moment, and just as Sharon started walking toward him, someone rushed past her, moving quickly and calling out excitedly, “Nick!”
‘A girl?‘ Sharon thought. She paused, watching the figure. It was Lydia.
‘So it’s her,‘ Sharon thought. Clearly Nicholas really was popular at the academy
Lydia stood in front of Nicholas, barely containing her excitement. “Nick, it’s been so long. Do you remember me? I’m Elizabeth’s sister. We met at that party before.”

Nicholas‘ expression turned noticeably colder. He didn’t even look at the girl in front of him, keeping his eyes fixed on Sharon in the distance vahea him a teasing look.
Nicholas stepped to the side and walked straight toward Sharon. “I came to pick you up after class.”
“Sure.” Sharon nodded. She glanced at Lydia, who was staring back at her resentfully as if Sharon had stolen her boyfriend.
Sharon gave Nicholas a skeptical smile. “You and Lydia are close?”
“Of course we are! Nick used to be so nice to me. He even carried me in his arms,” Lydia said, sticking to them like glue.
Sharon’s expression cooled. “Is that so?”
“Absolutely.” Lydia looked smug.
Nicholas finally tooked down at her, his voice ice cold. “Who are you?”
Lydia froze, her expression turning awkward.
