“But I really didn’t lie to you. In my heart, Edwina is just a sibling. I have already refused to marry her,” he explained, “Forgive me and come home with me, okay?”
I pulled my hand back coldly.
Alec looked at me with hurt eyes, with a last glimmer of hope in it.
“Are you done?” I said calmly, “Get lost if you’re done.”
