“Asshole!” Edwina’s father roared, “My daughter is pregnant with your child and you call her just a sibling for you?!”
Alec’s mother looked at her husband awkwardly.
Alec’s father cleared his throat and said, “We, Miles, should be responsible for this matter. I think we should get married next month. Our Miles Family will cover all the wedding expenses. Mr. Frey, what do you think?”
Before Edwina’s father could answer, Alec suddenly sat up from the hospital bed and looked at Edwina anxiously, “Edwina, please say something! Didn’t we agree that you will raise the child after it is born and not interfere with my marriage with Kimberley?”

After Edwina’s father slammed the door and left, the ward fell into deathly silence.
