“How dare you!” Roxanne snapped. “Sharon, you’ve gone too far. You think you can just buy the Vance family whenever you feel like it?”
Roxanne suddenly felt uneasy. ‘Does this girl actually know some powerful people?‘ she thought.
She tilted her head toward Wayne, who had been quiet the whole time. “Why are you just standing there saying nothing? You’re the heir. Say something!
“What can I say? You’ve never listened to a word I’ve said, Grandma,” Wayne replied with a helpless expression.
Since Sharon had returned, everything she’d said had come true.
Wayne had a feeling that Sharon wasn’t bluffing this time. She was dead serious.
What could have been resolved with a simple apology and some humility might now cost them the entire Vance family.
Roxanne scoffed, “You’re such a pushover. Look at that girl, all attitude and no substance.”
“Grandma, do you really think Sharon has no power? Or are you just refusing to admit it because you don’t want to face reality?” Wayne asked.
“Wayne, you can’t talk to Grandma like that.” Karen couldn’t believe it. Wayne seemed like a completely different person now. ‘Is he really that afraid of Sharon?‘ she thought.
Roxanne’s face remained tight with anger. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. If you’re too scared to stand up for yourself, then stay out of it.”
“Mrs. Vance, Wayne didn’t mean it that way. Please don’t be upset,” Madeline said, gently pulling her son back. She sighed quietly.
Madeline finally understood why her family had called her earlier. It seemed Sharon might actually be more than she appeared. What puzzled her was how a country girl could possibly have so much influence.
The atmosphere grew increasingly awkward as Malcolm struggled with what to do.
‘Who in their right mind would dare to put a price on the Four Great Families?‘ Malcolm thought. ‘They’d be asking to get crushed.”
Yet here was someone actually doing it with 100 million Hunter Coins! Even Malcolm felt envious looking at that amount. ‘How could this girl be so wealthy?‘ he thought.
Malcolm frowned, “There’s no precedent for this. I can’t answer your question.”
“Fine then. If you don’t want to earn this commission, I’ll just post about it online,” Sharon replied coolly. “I’m sure there are plenty of people who’d jump at this opportunity.”
How dare she write another post!‘ Roxanne thought and couldn’t help but scream, “Sharon, have you lost your mind?”
1000 gold coins had already pushed the Vance family to such a desperate state. Roxanne couldn’t even imagine what would happen if Sharon actually posted a task worth 100 million gold coins. The Vance family might not even survive.
Sharon smiled coolly, “I never joke about these things. Originally, I would have let this go if you had just apologized, but I’ve changed my mind. It seems better if we take control of the Vance family ourselves.”
Roxanne sucked in a sharp breath. She nearly lost her balance. ‘Could I really be wrong about this? Am I just going to stand here and watch the Vance family fall apart?‘ she thought.

“Grandma, don’t let her scare you. If we don’t sell, what can she really do?” Karen challenged.
“Nothing special,” Sharon replied casually. “Just 100 million Hunter Coins, enough to wipe the Vance Mansion off the map, including all your livia. 7*** could disappear from this world without a trace.
“If your branch of the family were gone, naturally, my brothers and I would inherit the Vance family. All perfectly legitimats”
Karen swallowed hard. ‘How can she say such terrifying, bloody things so casually, like it’s no big deal?’ she thought. ‘How could sharon so easily threaten to kill us? Just to inherit the Vance family, she’d kill us all?‘
Roxanne finally found her voice. “How did you become so vicious?”
“I learned from you,” Sharon replied. “Though I don’t think I’ve learned enough yet.”
Sharon glanced at her brothers, anxiety flickering in her eyes. She wondered how they’d react to what she’d just said.
Richard immediately gave her a thumbs up. “Shari, you’re so cool.”
Wallace applauded. “You’re all grown up now. I’m really proud.”
Marvin made a heart shape with his hands. “Not bad at all. You’ve truly inherited the Vance family spirit.”
The other brothers joined in with applause, all wearing expressions of pride at their little sister coming into her own.
Malcolm kept his face blank. ‘Are you all demons?‘ he thought. ‘Didn’t you just hear Sharon say she wants to kill someone?
‘Shouldn’t you guys, as her brothers, correct the girl’s warped values? This talk about killing people and their families is terrifying.
A moment later, Malcolm cleared his throat. “So, about that commission, what percentage are we talking?”
Roxanne’s face instantly turned ashen.
