Chapter 10
Lica growls at the males in response, sensing the tense atmosphere in the air, and then begins to run through the forest while I hold my female close to me.
I try not to let negative thoughts take over, but it’s hard. No matter how accustomed I am to acting under pressure in battles or how many tense moments I’ve survived, seeing this pale, nearly naked female like this is destroying my confidence that everything will be okay.
“Why the hell did that bastard let my wife arrive like this?!”
My hands are even trembling with fear. Melissa is far too fragile.
Instead of heading to the village chief’s house, I urge Lica deeper into the forest at a fast pace, toward a place few dare to go. But knowing I have little time and no longer hearing the males behind me, I quickly stop and dismount from Lica.
Right now, I’m wearing dark leather pants with a thick wool lining, a thin shirt, and my fur coat. But the truth is, I don’t need them–I produce fire within me.
Melissa, however, does need them, so I strip off all my clothes and begin dressing her haphazardly, dealing with her limp body. Her head barely reaches my chest, and my legs are nearly twice the length of hers, but I manage to seat her on the ground to get my clothes on her. By the time I’m done, I’m completely naked.
If this were a different moment, I’d take my time exploring her body–her soft, wide thighs for her size–but now is not the time. Now, I need to warm her.
I should have brought some of my brothers to carry the things Melissa likely brought on her ship, which would have helped me handle the human better. But if they saw my wife, they might try to claim her, and I don’t want to share. I refuse to live like most males who are now forced to share one female among at least three azuris.
In the end, I grab the blanket that was on Lica, wrap it around her body, and tie it at the front like a makeshift dress so nothing falls off. Everything is ridiculously oversized, but
it’s better than nothing.
Then, lifting Melissa onto my shoulders once again, I mount Lica and sit her limp body in front of me. With one arm, I hold Melissa securely, while with the other, I grip the reins of

my nola.
“Let’s go!” I command the animal, which neighs and instinctively finds the path.
The problem is, with every gallop, Melissa’s body rubs against mine–completely bare- and it’s driving me crazy. I can’t feel her skin now because she’s bundled up in my clothes, but I can still smell her feminine scent. That, combined with the friction, is enough to awaken my two cocks and my nyclo, and that’s the last thing I should be
thinking about right now.
I spend the rest of the ride fighting to focus on the path and on saving this human, or I’ll end up ruining this mission because of my lack of focus and control, which would be
utterly unacceptable.

There are many Azuri villages on our side of Selvaria, each with its own chief. Most of the population lives in huts, but our chief resides in a large stone fortress with an underground structure where natural hot water baths are located. They discovered water leaking many years ago and decided to enclose the area where it flows with stones, creating a small lake.
As soon as I arrive in front of the chief’s castle, which is nestled right against the forest, my sister is already waiting for me. She’s about ten human years older than me, and we’ve always gotten along well, but now I’m not so sure.
Gen looks at me, already sensing something is wrong. Even though nudity among our people isn’t uncommon, riding naked makes no sense. Then there’s the “bundle” of clothes I’m holding in front of me, which clearly signals suspicious activity.
“I need help,” I admit, realizing I’ll need an accomplice and trying to sidestep most of her questions, though she knows something is amiss.
Sensing my urgency, my sister agrees to help, and I’m forced to let her take Melissa, who doesn’t even have her face exposed.
I need to speak with the village chief, but Melissa also needs warmth immediately. Since
Gen is tall and strong, like everyone in my family, she has no trouble carrying her.
I had expected Melissa to arrive properly covered. I sent extra brons to Unob to purchase

even a coat with an internal mini–heater I’d seen in the hologram. But he sent the female in just a short dress, and now I feel like a complete idiot for not considering this part of the plan could fail.
If this were a battle, it would be the equivalent of losing thousands of my soldiers before
even reaching the field. At least I trust Gen–she isn’t a male on the brink of a rut.
In Azuri culture, claiming occurs when we speak the words of our ancestors, and then the
male gives a piece of his second heart for the female to eat. If the Azuris joining are of
the same gender, the tradition is adapted.
The marriage lasts forever, but with the scarcity of females, someone might try to claim
Melissa before me, becoming her owner–and I won’t allow that.
This human is mine, now and forever!
