Chapter 121
Juno’s POV
Augustin’s lips tralled down my neck, sending shivers racing across my skin. My body arched toward his touch, desperate
for more contact.
“I love how sensitive your skin is,” he whispered against my collarbone, his hot breath making me tremble. “Just a light kiss and you’re trembling, all flushed. It’s like I’m learning your body all over again. His teeth grazed the sensitive spot where my neck met my shoulder, and I couldn’t hold back a moan.
I gripped his hair hard, tugging at the silky strands as my body writhed beneath him. His mouth mapping every inch of my skin with reverent attention. When his lips closed around my nipple, my back arched off the bed.
“Augustin,” I gasped, my thighs clenching around his waist. The sensations were overwhelming, building into a crescendo I couldn’t control. My skin felt like it was on fire, burning everywhere his lips touched, the muscles in my core tightening deliciously as the first wave hit me.
He raised his head, watching my body convulse with pleasure beneath him. The intensity in his gaze only heightened every sensation coursing through me.
“Look at me, Berry,” he commanded softly, positioning himself between my legs where I was already slick and ready for him. “I want to see those beautiful eyes when I’m inside you.”
I forced my eyes open, meeting his heated gaze as he pushed into me with careful, deliberate slowness. The stretch and fullness made me whimper. He was being gentle, knowing how sensitive I was right now.
“So, warm,” he murmured, his voice dropping lower as he buried himself to the hilt. “So soft and wet for me. Your body always knows exactly what I need.”
He began to move, each precise thrust hitting that perfect spot inside me that made stars explode behind my eyes. My body felt different somehow, more responsive, every nerve ending electrified, but God, it felt good. So good I could barely breathe.
I watched as his canines lengthened slightly, his eyes shifting from deep gray to liquid silver. Fenris was taking over, and the realization sent another shock of desire straight to my core.
“Mine, Fenris growled, increasing his pace, his hands gripping my hips with bruising intensity.
Each powerful thrust was a declaration of ownership, a claim on my body and soul that I surrendered to willingly. I tried to maintain eye contact as he’d asked, but it was becoming impossible as another orgasm built within me, this one promising to be even more intense than the last.
My nails dug into his shoulders, breaking skin as I clung to him. “I’m going to-” I couldn’t finish the sentence before pleasure crashed over me like a tidal wave, my inner walls clenching rhythmically around him.
“That’s it, Berry,” he praised, “Give it all to me.”
Fenris didn’t slow, driving me through that peak and toward another that made me feel like my soul might leave my body. Each stroke seemed to reach deeper than before, claiming parts of me I didn’t know existed. I’d never felt anything like this before, and I knew whenever I thought of this moment in the future, I’d get wet again and rush back to him.

“Mine,” he growled again, his movements becoming erratic as body tensed. With a final deep thrust, he spilled inside me, my body eagerly accepting everything he had to give.
He collapsed gently on top of me, his breath coming in hot pants against my neck. I wrapped my arms around him, fingers lightly tracing patterns on his back as we both basked in the afterglow, I felt his heart thundering against my chest, matching the frantic pace of my own.
Augustin rolled onto his back beside me, chest still rising and falling rapidly. I turned onto my side to look at him, admiring the sheen of sweat on his skin and the satisfied smile playing at his lips.
He reached out to tap the tip of my nose. “I don’t want you going to Dawnshere,” he said softly. “But you’re too stubborn for your own good, aren’t you?”
We both laughed, and I couldn’t help but lean in to kiss him.
“You don’t have to solve this mystery, Berry. Just come home to me in three days.” His expression grew serious. “Three days without you will be torture enough. Please don’t make me wait longer.”
I kissed him again, hoping to ease his worry. “I won’t.”
He held me all night, arms wrapped possessively around my waist as if afraid I might disappear.
Morning came too quickly. After another round in the shower that left my legs weak and my heart pounding, we finally managed to get dressed. My stomach growled loudly as we headed toward the breakfast room.
“I want to bite into something,” I murmured, and Augustin laughed.
“I swear, your appetite amazes me sometimes.”
As we walked past Amelia’s room, a chill ran down my spine. She had been notably absent since our confrontation, and her silence worried me more than her open hostility. What was she planning? But I kept these thoughts to myself. I didn’t want to bring it up and have Augustin think I was against his mother. She was still his mother, and he loved her, no matter what she did.
Everyone was already in the dining room when we arrived. I noticed Scarlett was the only one fully dressed and ready for our trip. Freya still wore her pajamas and looked decidedly unhappy about something.
I sat down and began loading my plate, suddenly ravenous despite what Augustin and I had just done. “Good morning,” I said to everyone.
“Someone’s hungry,” Scarlett commented with a knowing smirk. I guess the Alpha King really wore you out.”
We both laughed, but Freya remained silent, staring at her untouched toast.
What’s wrong with her? I linked Scarlett.

Adryx refused to let her go to Dawnshere in her condition, she replied. She’s pissed.
I felt bad for Freya, but understood Adryx’s reasoning. With her pregnancy at such a sensitive stage, they couldn’t take risks. Still, her anger permeated the room, affecting everyone–except my appetite.
devoured avocado toast, buttery croissants, and a sandwich, sampling a bit of everything on the table. Augustin watched me with raised eyebrows.

“There’s good food in Dawn here too, you know,” he commented dryly, and everyone laughed, including me,
“You’ll take my private jet, Augustin told me after breakfast, hi tone making it clear this wasn’t up for negotiation.
i nohted, knowing if I refused, he’d only insist more strongly. I had hoped to arrive more discreetly, but this was clearly Important to him.
“There will be a driver waiting for you in Verdantia who will take you to Dawnshere, he continued. “And you’ll have shadow guards with you.”
“Shadow guards?”
