The says following our engagement celebration were filled with planning. Maybe has three weddings were being organized. The
manor buzzed with activity as preparations began.
“Adryx’s family is livid about Freya,” Bryloch commented one afternoon as we reviewed patrol reports. “They’re claiming she’s unfit to be the Callaway matriarch.”

Bryloch laughed, shaking his head.
In all the years I’d known Adryx, I’d never seen him so content, so focused on something beyond duty. He spent every free moment with Freya, planning their future, preparing their living quarters in his family’s section of the territory.
I couldn’t help the twinge of envy that arose. Soon, I told myself. Soon it would be our turn.
After two weeks of wedding preparations and managing territory affairs, the evening of Sebastian’s party finally arrived. I knew the women had been selecting outfits for the event, and based on their excitement, I was certain they would look spectacular.
“You need to leave,” Juno announced as I lounged on our bed, watching her gather items for her bath. “I need to get ready, and you’re distracting.”
I raised an eyebrow. “You could use the dressing room.”
“I prefer our bedroom,” she replied, a teasing smile playing on her lips. “But I want to surprise you, and we both know we’ll be late f you stay and watch me dress.”
“Is that such a terrible fate?” I asked, making no move to leave. “Sebastian will hardly start without us.”
“This isn’t about Sebastian,” Juno said, hands on her hips. “This is about me wanting to make an entrance that leaves you speechless, and that won’t happen if you watch every step of the process.”
“I find you spectacular in every state of dress or undress,” I countered, enjoying our banter. “Including right now, when you’re all fired up and giving orders to your Alpha King.”
Her eyes flashed gold momentarily. “And yet you’re still on the bed, not following those orders.”
“Perhaps I enjoy your attempts to command me,” I teased.
“Augustin,” she said, “if you want me to wear this special dress I’ve been saving, you’ll leave. Now.”
She wasn’t wrong. Watching Juno in any state of undress was a pleasure I couldn’t resist. Her movements were unconsciously sensual, and the sight of her body – whether fully naked or draped in delicate undergarments – inevitably led to my hands on her skin and both of us tangled in sheets.

Hours later, a knock on my study door announced her readiness. When I returned to our bedroom and saw her, my breath caught in my throat.

“Like what?” she teased, voice deliberately dropping lower.
“Like I’m the only thing in the world that can satisfy you,” I growled, feeling my control slipping.
“That’s because you are,” she answered, her fingers working at my tie “No one else makes me feel this way. No one else ever could.”
Take her, Fenris growled, and Seraphine’s answering rumble from within Juno made me chuckle.
“Later,” I promised, eyeing the dress regretfully. If it had been shorter, I might have hiked it up and taken her against the wall, but the gown looked too long and intricate for such spontaneity. “Are you ready to go?”
When she looked up, her eyes had shifted to wolf–gold. I watched her struggle for control, fascinated by the battle between woman and wolf playing out before me. If only she knew how hard my cock was, straining painfully against my tailored pants.
