The Alpha’s Possession 35
Before Zvonimir could figure out where he was, a sharp pain shot through his head, and he sneezed repeatedly. His throat was sore and scratchy.
It was clear that he had caught a cold.
Zvonimir couldn’t believe it. His body had always been strong, and hadn’t caught a’cold in years. Last night, he had only drunk a little and had sex briefly.
Thinking about the sex, Zvonimir glanced outside and saw Rishima eating breakfast. Last night, this slut had used her mouth to pleasure him.
Perhaps sensing the lustful look in his eyes, Rishima suddenly raised her head and glanced at him. She furrowed her brow but didn’t say anything, lowering her head to continue eating.
Her gaze was filled with contempt, even tinged with disgust, but Zvonimir found it exciting, his pants beginning to tighten.
Perhaps Zvonimir’s nature was inclined towards enjoying mistreatment. In the past, she had been attentive, trying to win his favor, and even during their intimate moments, she had catered to his desires and served him wholeheartedly, yet he had ruthlessly discarded her like trash.
At the time when she no longer cared about him, he shamelessly clung to her. Even to protect his ridiculous sense of pride, he had resorted to unreasonable behavior and force to coerce her.
It should be understood that an Alpha wolf always carried their own pride. They would never have forced a female wolf to serve them but relied solely on her willingness.
Zvonimir’s overbearing actions during that time had shattered the standard of what defined a noble Alpha.
He wanted to slam this female wolf onto the dining table and rip her apart!
While lost in thought, Zvonimir suddenly sneezed, and his nose immediately began to run.
“Why didn’t you cover me with a blanket last night,
with a tissue.
Zvonimir pulled up a chair next to Rishima, complaining while wiping his nose
Normally, when he was drunk, Rishima would take great care of him but when he woke up this morning, he was lying on the floor without a blanket, and the air conditioner was set to a low temperature.
It was no wonder he caught a cold.
“I’m not obligated to take care of you,” Rishima replied, standing up and walking to the door. She opened her luggage and pulled out a face mask, putting it on.
Seeing this, Zvonimir grew even more displeased. “What are you doing? I’m not a virus!”
“Don’t infect me,” Rishima said. She was pregnant now, and catching a cold would be troublesome.
Zvonimir sneered. He had only caught a cold, was it really necessary for her to be so before.
paranoid? He had never seen her this cautious
Suddenly, he remembered how Rishima had been retching over the toilet the night before. Now, she was being so careful about protecting herself from illness. Zvonimir pondered and said, “Are you really not pregnant?”

His gaze settled on Rishima’s stomach.
Instinctively, Rishima tried to cover her belly with both hands, but she stopped herself just in time, calmly saying, “Maybe you should wait a bit longer. Perhaps next year, my Alpha and I will have a lovely little
pup.
Bang!
Zvonimir slammed his chopsticks onto the table, his face darkening as his eyes widened in anger, his desire to strike the wolf in front of him rising.
But recalling Michael’s words, he suppressed his fury.
“Break up with that male wolf immediately! Don’t let me hear you mention remained unsaid.
him again, or else- Zvonimir sneered, but the threat
In response, Rishima walked into the bathroom and shut the door.
Zvonimir muttered a curse under his breath and called his secretary ordering him to bring a new outfit to his place.
Half an hark tater, Zvonimir finished changing and demanded that Rishima tie his tie.. tightened it so much he nearly
choked.
Furious, Zvonimir threatened, “I’ll punish you when I get back!”
Rishima ignored him, treating him as if he were air.
As he left, Rishima once again pondered how she should live from now on.
Zvonimir would never let her go, but she had no desire to be his mistress, let alone let him discover she was pregnant.
The power was in Zvonimir’s hands, and Rishima could think of no way out. Unless she selfishly abandoned Zelda, her uncle and aunt, and her cousin, and ran away immediately.
But she couldn’t do that.
“Zvonimir, I really regret meeting you.” Rishima sat on the couch, hugging her knees, murmuring to herself, her eyes empty, lost,
and powerless.
She didn’t know how much time passed, but a ringing sound broke Rishima’s thoughts. She received a call from the auction house.
Regaining her composure, she answered the call, “Hello, this is Rishima Walton.”
“Ms. Walton, hello, I’m from the auction house. Previously, you had put two designs up for sale, and they have now been sold. The proceeds from the sale will be transferred to your bank account. Please check and confirm. If there’s any issue, you can contact our customer service, and an expert will assist you.”
Rishima didn’t expect her designs to be sold so quickly. Surprised, she still smiled and replied, “That’s great, thank you for letting me know. I’ll keep an eye on my account.”
Sure enough, not long after hanging up, Rishima received two notifications from the bank, one for three hundred thousand dollars and another for five hundred thousand dollars.
Rishima stared wide–eyed, counting the money over and over in disbelief.
She couldn’t believe her work had sold for this much!

For years, she had been just a lowly employee at Ashcroft Corporation. The design department’s decisions were all in Daryl’s hands, and her designs were constantly rejected by him. But she couldn’t oppose him, so even if she won awards, she received no recognition.
When Rishima planned to leave the empire, she anonymously entrusted the Mixing Auction House to sell her designs. She chose to remain anonymous because she didn’t want people to know her and develop an aversion to her work.
Mixing Auction House was very reputable in the empire, mainly dealing in drawings, and many designers entrusted their works to them for sale.
However, the auction house didn’t accept just any désigner’s commission. Fortunately, Rishima had won a design award, so the Mixing Auction House took on her commission.
That said, they had many designs, and their sale prices were usually low. A typical design might only fetch around a thousand
dollars.
Yet, Rishima’s two designs sold for eight hundred thousand dollars, even after the auction house took its cut. Rishima happily shared the good news with Zelda.
But-
Half an hour later, Rishima opened WhatsApp again, and only then did she realize, in her excitement, that she had mistakenly sent the message to Matthew…
