Chapter 160 Secretly Being With Another Man’s Wife
Ryan
I stepped into the living room, my mind tangled in a storm of emotions.
Gabby was resting now, smiling, content, trusting me. I’d calmed her down, held her close, made love to her like I belonged in her world.
But no matter how peaceful she looked, I couldn’t shake the weight pressing on my chest.
Because I knew, I was lying to her.
Everything we had now, our intimacy, our happiness, the gentle way she looked at me, it was all built on a foundation of lies.
Am I really her husband? No.
Is the baby she’s carrying even mine? I don’t know.
But I took advantage of her amnesia, spun a fantasy where I could keep her close, lock her away in this world where she saw only me.
And the worst part?
Somewhere along the way… I became addicted to her.
If she ever found out the truth, would she ever forgive me?
My chest tightened violently, and I let out a bitter sigh.
But right now, I had another threat to deal with, Summer.
She had crossed the line.
She had the nerve to meet up with Gabby behind my back. And even told her that Vincent was her
husband!
What the hell was she thinking?!
If I hadn’t had her tailed, if the tip–off hadn’t come in time, I might’ve been too late to stop her.
And If I’d been just few minutes late, would Gabby have believed her?
The thought alone made my fists clench.
Gabby didn’t buy it this time. But next time? If Summer tries again?
No. I can’t afford to let that happen.
She has to be dealt with, permanently.
As I entered the room, one of the maids approached me quietly and said, “Sir, Ms. Miller has been waiting for you here for a long time.”
I lifted my gaze, and there she was.
Summer sat on the sofa like she owned the place, legs crossed, swirling a glass of water in her hand.

The moment she saw me, a slow smile curved across her lips.

“Ry, you finally decided to see me,” she purred, setting the glass down and rising to her feet. She walked toward me, eyes glinting with amusement.
I stopped a few feet from her, my expression cold. “You’ve been waiting this long? That must’ve taken some real patience.”
She laughed lightly, her voice sugary and slow. “If I’m waiting for you, I could wait forever. You know I’ve always been patient with you.”
“Cut the crap.” I frowned, my voice icy. “Why are you here?” ”
She blinked innocently, then reached out to touch my arm, her tone softening. “Ry, can’t you just forgive me? I only met with Gabrielle to have a little chat, nothing more. I swear.”
I didn’t hesitate. I shook her off, hard.
“You don’t need to explain anything to me.” I said flatly. “Just stay away from Gabby. From now on.”
She froze.
Then, she laughed.
But this time it was bitter.
“The way you treat her and the way you treat me, it’s like night and day.”
I stared at her down, unmoved. “We’re not engaged anymore. We’re not friends. You should’ve figured that out a long time ago.”
“I don’t understand!” she suddenly raised her voice, her tone laced with anger. “And I won’t accept it!”
I didn’t flinch. I just stood there, letting her anger crash over me like a tide that had long since lost its power.
Then, her fury faded into something darker.
A smile curled on her lips, twisted, dangerous.
“Fine,” she said softly. “Treat me like this if you want. But are you sure, you won’t regret it later?”
My brows furrowed. Her words were slow, deliberate, laced with venom.
I scoffed. “You.threatening me now?”
She took a step closer, until the air between us practically buzzed. Her fingers grazed the collar of my shirt, and she leaned in, her breath warm, her voice a whisper dipped in poison. “Because I know a secret about you.”
I paused, my brows tightening. “What secret?”
She leaned in slowly, her body almost brushing against mine. Her fingers toyed with the collar of my shirt, her voice low and sultry, with a hint of provocation.
“Ry… what does it feel like, secretly being with another man’s wife?”
