Chapter 25
“Now, please welcome our bride, Celia!”
The door to the banquet hall slowly opened, and a spotlight shone down.
The wedding march played as Celia, holding a bouquet of flowers, walked toward Matthew.
This was Celia’s second time attending a grand occasion like this, the first being a crushing defeat.
But this time, she wasn’t entirely sure she could be happy.
At this moment, she even considered running away.
On stage, Matthew’s fingers curled nervously.
“Celia!”
In the audience, Celia’s parents watched her with tear–filled eyes.
At their table were relatives, Celia’s classmates, and best friends.
They waved at her, shouting “Congratulations.”
Celia stood still in surprise, tears welling up in her eyes.
The host was about to hurry her, but Matthew stopped him with a gesture.
Matthew adjusted his tie and walked determinedly toward his bride.
“Celia, I know you have many concerns, but I want you to know, you don’t have to worry.”
Celia looked up at Matthew, seeing his sincere expression.
Memories of the high school days flashed before her eyes–the boy in white who always waited for her after school to walk home together.
And the time when they were cornered by a group of hooligans and hid in an alley, their breaths close, skin touching.

The young boy’s innocent face slowly merged with the man before her.
Celia couldn’t help but believe that sometimes, the right person will always come back to you.
She had once taken a detour, but it was Matthew who held her hand and guided her back.
“My parents… and my friends, they…”
Matthew raised his hand and gently wiped away her tears, “Your parents have never really been angry with you. They’ve always loved you. And your friends, they’re overjoyed that you’re back.”
Matthew held her hand tightly as they walked to the center of the stage.
He took the microphone, “Thank you all for attending my and Celia’s wedding. I want to say something to my wife-”
Matthew turned to Celia, holding her hands and looking into her eyes.
“Celia, I am truly lucky to marry you in this life.”
“I want to thank you for giving me the ability to love! I love you, Celia!”
The crowd erupted in applause, and their friends cheered, “Kiss! Kiss!”
Matthew’s face turned red to his ears.
He stuttered, “Celia, they… I…”
Seeing him like that, Celia burst into laughter through her tears.
Before Matthew could react, Celia stood on her toes and kissed him on the lips.
Matthew’s secretary, watching from the side of the stage, couldn’t help but sigh.
‘Falling in love is like being robbed of his heart, but after marriage, he would become a slave to his wife? My domineering CEO is gone forever.‘
Before the wedding was over, Matthew had already taken Celia to hide in the office’s prite room.
They spent three days there, without stepping out.

Chapter 25
Louie was sentenced, and Celia went to visit him in prison.
The once proud and ambitious young man had fallen to being a prisoner.
The Morris Group was acquired by Matthew, and Louie’s shares weren’t even enough to pay his
fines.
His properties and cars were confiscated, and he owed the bank millions.
When he saw Celia, tears of regret poured down his face.
“Celia, I’m sorry. Can you forgive me?”
Celia calmly held the microphone and replied, “Louie, I forgive you, not because I still have feelings for you, but because I no longer care about the past.”
Louie cried uncontrollably, “Celia, Thalia and I have divorced. Can you…”
Celia stood up, taking out her wedding photo with Matthew and pressed it against the glass.
“I finally know what a real marriage certificate looks like. Goodbye.”
With a graceful turn, Celia walked away, leaving Louie desperately pounding on the glass, while the police restrained him.
Matthew leaned against the car door, shaking an ice cream cone when he saw Celia.
“Your favorite taro flavor.”
“Let’s go, baby, let’s have sushi!”
Celia looked up, and the sunlight was just perfect.
