Louie smugly silenced everyone, drawing their attention.
“I didn’t come here as an invitation, but to personally congratulate Mr. Curtis on his wedding,” Louie
said.
Matthew maintained his composure, letting Louie act out.
“I have a few photos that I’d like to show the bride’s family and friends.”
Saying this, he took out his phone and displayed an intimate photo of Matthew and Celia.
Matthew, ever thoughtful, suggested, “Mr. Louie, your phone screen is too small. Would you like to project it onto the big screen?”
Louie sneered, “That would be perfect.”
After the staff adjusted the equipment, Louie’s phone successfully connected to the giant screen
behind them.
Louie was smug, “The woman in the photo–could she be the mistress Mr. Curtis has been secretly meeting behind his fiancée’s back? I wonder how Mr. Curtis will explain himself?”
Matthew snorted, “Mr. Morris, do you recognize the woman in this photo?”
“Of course! She’s my wife,” Louie replied confidently.
Matthew laughed loudly, “But I know your legal wife is Thalia, not the person in the photo who’s having an affair with me.”
Louie didn’t expect Matthew to know this, and quickly tried to explain.
“I’ve already married Thalia, but that’s only because she needed help when she went abroad… but the person I love is Celia.”
Matthew rolled his eyes, “Did I hear that right? You’re saying you love someone who’s n wife? Is that even possible?”

Louie, flustered, regretted speaking so quickly
“No, no, Thalia and I are in the process of getting a divorce. Once we’re done, I’ll marry my real love.
No need for Mr. Curtis to worry”
Matthew slowly pointed to the big screen, “Mr. Morris, don’t you want to explain something about
this video?”
The video showed Louie violently beating Thalia.
Louie turned around, his face going pale.
“Who? Who’s messing with my photos?”
Matthew’s disgusted look deepened. Didn’t Louie himself hand the phone to the staff?
“Kidnapping, assault… Louie, I wonder if the police will be interested in what’s on your phone?”
Louie finally reacted, “Give me my phone back!”
Matthew took a few steps back, “The police have already been called. Can you guess who it might
be?”
“Thalia? Did you save her?” Louie panicked.

But soon, Louie regained his composure.
He couldn’t forget the purpose of his visit–to ruin Matthew’s wedding and make Celia face him

Matthew, however, had a look on his face as if saying, “What are you going to do about it?”

Louie didn’t understand, but when he turned to look at the guests, his expression instantly changed.
The entire audience consisted of Morris’s relatives, friends, and major shareholders of the Morris Group.
Louie staggered and fell onto the stage.
He pointed at Matthew, “You set me up?”
Matthew grinned slyly, “Yes, I did. What’s the matter?”
The guests in the audience whispered and pointed at Louie, full of disdain.
“You’ve truly embarrassed the Morris family. He should be removed from the family tree
immediately.”
“How did you raise your son, Mrs. Morris? He’s morally bankrupt!”
“I suggest removing Louie from the board of directors!”
“I agree! Someone with such a lack of integrity doesn’t deserve to be the CEO!”
Louie continued to struggle, “He’s lying! I, Louie, am not the kind of man who abandons his wife! Do you have any evidence? These pictures are all edited!”
Just then, the door to the hall opened, and Thalia stood in the doorway.
“Louie. You’re a beast!”
The crowd gasped.
Thalia walked in, rolling up her sleeves to reveal the bruises on her arms.
“These were caused by Louie. He even tried to kill me!”
Thalia recounted how Louie had been deceiving Celia while maintaining an affair with her all along.

“Louie, you are under arrest for attempted murder.”
At the same time, Thalia was also arrested. “There’s evidence to suggest you poisoned someone.
Come with us.”
Thalia, stunned, looked at Matthew in disbelief.
Matthew picked up his wine glass and raised it to her.
He had always said that he wasn’t someone to show mercy.
Before leaving, Louie screamed at Matthew’s back.
“Matthew! I have no grudge against you. Why are you doing this to me?”
