Chapter 383
Henry politely nodded as he accepted the card. “Thank you.”
Nadia watched his hand as he took the card, hesitating for a few ads before speaking again. “Mr. Harding, I see Dr. Wilson is your attending
physician. Why isn’t she here? Shouldn’t she be present?”
She blinked innocently, looking around the room as if genuinely
Henry gave her a cold, sidelong glance, his face full of disgust.
“You’re looking for Sophia?” he asked sharply. “Go

When Violet first introduced Nadia, Henry immediately sensed something was off about her. Her eyes darted everywhere, never settling in one place, giving her a shifty appearance.
He couldn’t understand how Violet’s judgment could be so poor to hire someone like this as an assistant..
Though he wasn’t sure what Nadia’s true intentions were, he knew
one thing for certain: he wouldn’t tolerate anyone speaking ill of Sophia.
Without hesitation, he summoned his family’s security team. “Please escort Ms. Nadia out.”
The security guards immediately entered the room and politely but firmly ushered Nadia out, then closed the door tightly behind them.
With the room finally quiet again, Henry pulled out his phone and called Benjamin.
“I did what you suggested–I let her touch my abs,” he complained. “But she just cursed at me and ran away. What kind of terrible advice was that?”
This approach had been Benjamin’s idea. Initially, Henry hadn’t wanted

try it, but when he saw Sophia, he couldn’t resist using it.
Benjamin was sleeping when the call came through. Annoyed at having his rest disturbed, he scratched his head and swore.
“Shit! How could that not work?” he complained. “Didn’t you say Sophia loves touching your abs? Let me tell you something–the most proper- looking women are often the most passionate. Your Sophia clearly seems like the quiet, secretly sensual type. It must be that you didn’t show enough, or your approach was wrong!”
Henry considered this analysis, frowning repeatedly.
Perhaps he really had used the wrong method?
As the sun set and twilight fell, I took off my white coat and prepared to change into my regular clothes before heading back to Rose Garden Apartments. Just as I stepped out of the changing room, I spotted a familiar figure.
Henry stood outside the changing room door, dressed in a bespoke navy blue suit, black leather shoes, and a crisp white shirt. His beautiful eyes narrowed slightly as he watched me, clearly waiting. When he noticed my movement, he looked in my direction, a smile spreading across his handsome face.
Seeing him, I instinctively stopped, looking for an escape route. Henry noticed my hesitation and quickly approached, grabbing my arm before 1 could retreat.
“Dr. Wilson, are you always this diligent? Not going home after your shift ends?” he calmly asked.
Caught with nowhere to escape, I forced a smile. “No, not really.”
Despite my pleasant expression, I struggled desperately against his grip. Damn Henry, what trouble is he trying to cause now?
“Henry, let go of me! You’re hurting me!” I protested.
He immediately loosened his grip, but not enough for me to break free. Though it felt better, I still couldn’t escape his control.
“We shouldn’t be seeing each other. Please let me go!” I insisted.
Henry maintained his tight hold on my wrist, giving me no chance to escape. A faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth as he said the words he knew would stop me:
“Billy is waiting in the car.”
